Stop with the wussy talk -- this one is for all the guys who haven't won a PO game and this team will Rise Up!

Tony G has had a Hall of Fame career. He has never won a playoff game though he has been on the number 1 rated team going into the playoffs numerous times. He came to Atlanta to get his first playoff win, as well as a shot at the Super Bowl.

The last time we played the Packers, Weatherspoon was out with an injury. He will bring much needed speed and motivation (and some on-field smack talk) to our defense. This is his first NFL Playoff game. He will play out of his mind this game.

Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, and Curtis Lofton have never won a playoff game as starters. Their last memories of the playoffs were their first memories together of a Arizona team playing out of their mind, that eventually went to the Super Bowl and was within 2 minutes of winning it. Ryan is probably taking sled dogs to Flowery Branch as I type this. Turner will redefine exactly what it means to be the "burner." Lofton is going to show you he is the true leader of this defense and he will light up some 6th round RB who thinks he is going to run over our boys.

Dunta Robinson has never played in a playoff game as far as I know. He is now back at home with the team he always wanted to play for. This is his first playoff game "back home." He is going to play out of his mind.

There won't be any 3rd and 16 garbage we saw the last time we were in the playoffs.

Finally, this fanbase is pissed. This will be many of our fanbase's first playoff game -- not everyone, but probably close to half if not more. We have seen our team disrespected all season, even through today when we still hold the #1 seed and the talking head morons still pick Green Bay. We have been disrespected ourselves by a few reporters saying earlier this season that our crowd is a "non-factor" (I'm looking directly at you Steve Wyche). This game is prime-time. We know how to bring it (and how to show up and fill the dome) for an 8 pm game. Forget Denver's "Rocky Mountain Thunder." You are going to find out what "Terminus Rumble" is all about (for those unfamiliar, Atlanta used to be known as Terminus before it was changed to Marthasville then to Atlanta).

This team is no longer a Falcon. It is a phoenix. We have risen from the ashes of a crumbled franchise, due to the actions of a cowardly coach and convicted QB. This is not your daddy's Falcons any longer. This phoenix was born three years ago and has learned to flap its wings through adversity last year (can anyone say playing 25% of your schedule on teams coming off the bye). This Saturday you will see this phoenix rise and fly. It will consume the hopes and dreams of the Packers faithful and crush them.

NO MORE WUSSY TALK! THIS IS OUR TIME ATLANTA!

I do wonder how they will get to practice. Will they drive through the snow mess or will blank have to charter a copter and pick em all up? Lol, the roads are a mess, so seriously, how are they going to get to practice?

Don't worry; they got it covered.

Keep in mind fellas...

The Falcons will not get the media respect so many here argue for if we don't win big games against good teams.

This is that opportunity.

They'll play the game and we'll see what shakes out... football, especially at the NFL level, is such a dynamic exchange of efforts and scenarios. 22 players each affecting every play by talent, effort, technique, and heart. The game is SO impacted by HC/OC/DC philosophies, strategies, and play-to-play tactics... "football is like chess on steroids"

Green Bay and our Falcons are both good teams, coaches and players, but we have no less of an opportunity than they do next Saturday night. The media talking heads are irrelevant to the outcome of the game; ignore them.

Personally, I believe this team is THE "team of destiny" this season. A lot of people are ignoring our story to date because it isn't as "marketable" to the mass public as of yet... the hard-working, the always prepared, the even-keeled, the never-say-die effort guys and team... that's the team and story always ignored by most up until they burst through and TAKE the spotlight on the big stage, until they TAKE that respect due them, their effort, their heart, their unrelenting drive is finally given it's due, because the "other stories" have fallen by the wayside... failing to deliver on their promise, their talent, and actually finish their epic story. Go Falcons!!!
