Broncos Offense-TM-Broncos Jan. 4 - 12:35 pm et

The Broncos will interview Falcons OC Mike Mularkey for their head coaching job on Friday.

Mularkey would be a fine hire, but he's probably only a fall-back plan in case John Elway can't lure away Jim Harbaugh from his alma mater, Stanford. Overseeing the development of Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, and Roddy White in Atlanta, Mularkey's offense ranked 16th in yards this season, but led the NFC in first downs per game. It's a balanced-to-run first attack, and would be good news for Knowshon Moreno's fantasy value in Denver.

Of course we lead the league in 1st downs, we don't hardly ever throw the ball deep. We earn every single yard we get.

Hopefully this does not become a distraction.
