"When you’ve got the momentum in a football game… that is a time to keep going and get it into the end zone..." Vince Lombardi

Coach Lombardi preached that games are won or lost on a few specific plays. You need to create momentum. Very simply the Falcons offense turned the ball over twice for a 14 point swing while failing to take advantage of the momentum created by the defense at a critical time in the game.

Make it happen instead of letting it happen. Slamming the door shut when momentum is on your side.

The Falcons need to learn from this loss, put it behind them, and recapture the momentum that remains theirs with a win against the Panthers. Play a complete game Falcons and play to win when the momentum is with you instead of not to lose. Stay focused on excelling at the fundamentals and rise up to seize the opportunity that remains within your grasp.

Win the next football game and the Falcons seize the NFC South and retake the momentum in pursuit of their goal. Just like Vince Lombardi says, it's not if you fall, it's if you get back up. “Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing!” Rise Up Falcons!!

"You must forget about being cautious, because if you don't your licked before you start. There is nothing to be afraid of as long as your aggressive and keep going. Keep going and you will win."

The Falcons must learn how to jump on opportunity when it is staring them in the face.
