gazoo 20,396
I was actually worried about winning tonight thinking of we won 2 games this year from the Saints, our chances increase at losing the 3rd.....very slim chance 2 teams as close as we are in the same division are going to lose or win all 3 games. Since we were probably going to see the Saints again in the playoffs, I'd rather have lost this one than won it. Just sayin............do you think the Saints chances of winning another here in the dome this year just increased, decreased or remains unchanged? I also think it works the other way....if we had won tonight our chances go down that we beat them a 3rd time.Has there ever been a 3 game sweep before? seems there was I just can't recall when. DemDirtyBirds4 361
Alot of fans are acting like this was the Superbowl, IT WASNT! Does this loss sting? **** yeah it does but because we took care of business throughout the year we are a game away from the number 1 seed. Personally I think the Panthers have a first class *** beating comming their way. THE SEASON IS NOT OVER PEOPLE!
falconthru&thru 21
That's certainly a glass half full way of looking at it. Perhaps tomorrow when the sting of the loss has lessened somewhat, I'll even agree with you.

Hmmmm... I'd rather won tonight's game.

GEORGIAfan 18,111
great post conan. i agree that it probably wont happen twice, plus i think its similar to the aints last year. cant get too over confident.
BackForThe2ndTime 80
A thread was made with the stats. Teams who needed to win a third in the row in the playoffs have done so more than not. Don't know if that was against the defending champs though so who knows.

This is part of my argument...that I highly doubt they can come in the Dome and win another this year as we are so closely matched up.
Cool Brees 3
That's hilarious. First you Falcons fans say the Aints have no chance of winning. Now, you claim that losing to us was beneficial. Ah, well, whatever helps you sleep at night. The Saints fans love when other teams underestimate us. Keep it up, and maybe we'll collect another SB ring.
LasVegasSaintsFan 0
We're 4 - 1 in your house since Sean and Drew arrived. I'll take our chances.

supremedarius 105
In the second half, no one was open. Why dont we run pick plays, jerk routes..Its pretty insane. I just hope we can be a little bit more dynamic. We need to create easier pass plays. Get Ryan in a rhythm.
papachaz 18,330
i really think our offense 'dumbed it down' a lot tonight. am i the only one who saw matt just look at mcclures fumble without even trying to pick it up?. I'm not worried about meeting the saints again. we were flat tonight, don't think we will be again.
WHODAT BEAST IN THE CELLAR 35
why not? they can beat you playing with flag happy refs and a unstable backfield apparently

Your dang secondary couldn't stop interfering with out WRs. Both your lines were going off sides. You deserved your flags. Should have had more calls but the Katrina refs didn't want to upset you guys Edited December 28, 2010 by A-TowN.-

Threepac Daddy 275
it sucked that we lost for tonight only. after a few hours of this game im actually glad we loss. it can get our egos back down to earth, gets us more focused like the eagles game did. plus we get to take out a little frustration on the panties next week
