With fan voting over for the 2011 Pro Bowl, it looks like the Atlanta Falcons could be well-represented.

Quarterback Matt Ryan finished in the top-10 overall, right at the No. 10 spot, with 704, 817 fan votes.

Wide receiver Roddy White and tight end Tony Gonzalez finished atop their positions. White pulled in 595,001 votes the most for any NFC receiver and Gonzalez earned 458,527 votes.

Fan voting ended Monday and the teams will be announced at 7 p.m. ET Tuesday on a special NFL Total Access 2011 Pro Bowl Selection Show on NFL Network.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady received 1,877,079 votes to lead all NFL All-Stars in fan balloting for the 2011 Pro Bowl.

There was a record 98.59 million votes cast on NFL.com, on wireless phones and on Facebook. Fans cast 89.52 million votes on NFL.com, 8.50 million votes on their wireless phones and 570,000 votes on Facebook.

The AFC and NFC All-Star squads are based on the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each groups vote counts one-third towards determining the 43-man rosters that represent the American Football Conference and National Football Conference in the Pro Bowl. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes today and Thursday.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick (1,522,437) leads all NFC voting and ranks second overall, while Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning (1,130,399 votes), San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers (1,039,618 votes) and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (971,731 votes) round out the top five.

The 2011 Pro Bowl will be played Jan. 30, 2011 and televised live on FOX at 7 p.m. (ET) at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hi.

The NFL is the only sports league that combines voting by fans, coaches and players to determine its all-star teams. It was the first professional sports league to offer online all-star voting in 1995.

I'm wondering if Ryan even has a chance to get in, even though he's in the top 10, unless coaches and players dont vote Rodgers in because the concussion was fresh on their minds.

Roddy and Gonzo are locks. I think Turner is a lock too, it would be a shame if he doesnt get the votes. I'm really, really hoping Grimes makes it though. That would be quite an accomplishment for him.

Also, for those interested, the rosters will be announced next Tuesday night, Dec. 28th.

I sure hope Matt gets in. He deserves it. But I think he might get overshadowed mostly by Vick.

Turner should get in for sure, and so will Roddy and Gonzo. God, I hope Grimes gets in, he's been having a heck of a year. Gonna have to wait and see who gets in!

Babineaux, of all our players not mentioned in the article should be selected. He's been among the best DT's in the league for several years in a row now, with little to no recognition for it.

The media treats us as if we are still a sad-sack team. <_<

We have great players that don't get enough recognition.

As has always been the case. I feel like karmic retribution should deliver us at least 10 pro bowlers, and none of them should have to play due to travel plans. ;)

I mean, all these guys legitimately should be pro-bowlers:

Ryan

Turner

Roddy

Gonzo

Clabo

McClure

Mughelli

Abraham

Babineaux

Lofton

Grimes

Weems

Bryant

Thats 13 guys who absolutely deserve it. I bet we have 3 get in max.

And sadly, they will continue to do so until we win it all. My proof is the Saints never got any credit before thay won the super bowl. Now the media can't get out of their thongs.

Its true. The Saints fullback was leading the fan vote for FBs. I mean, really? When does Ovie get his due? Oh yea, you already mentioned when above. ;)

The Taints have a fullback?

Right? Its news to me too. Ovie has more catches, yards, rushing yards... all of which shouldnt really matter for FBs, especially how low those numbers are for both guys. But the stat that matters to me... leading blocker for the NFC's leading rusher. Coaches and players better get this right when voting.

No, seriously...The Taint's have a fullback?

I agree that the lead blocker for the leading rusher should be given the nod, but like I said, the Pro Bowl won't matter as long as none of our guys are playing in it, but instead planning for the Super Bowl.
