INJURY REPORT: Snelling likely to play vs. Seattle

Recommended Posts

FLOWERY BRANCH — For the first time since suffering a hamstring injury against Green Bay on Nov. 28, backup running back Jason Snelling should be available for the Falcons on Sunday.

Snelling was able to complete an entire practice on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and Thursday. He’s officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s 4:05 p.m. game at Seattle.

Snelling, a running and receiving threat, has rushed for 300 yards on 74 carries and caught 35 passes for 239 yards this season. He could also take some of the rushing load from Michael Turner, who’s had 24 and 28 carries in the two games that Snelling missed.

Linebacker Curtis Lofton (knee) is also listed as questionable but is expected to play.

The rest of the players on the injury report — defensive end John Abraham (groin), defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux (shoulder), right tackle Tyson Clabo (ankle), linebacker Stephen Nicholas (knee), wide receiver Roddy White (knee) and linebacker Coy Wire (concussion) — were listed as probable
