Listening to the DraftInsider Podcast Sobleski and Pauline reported that Rich McKay talked to a group of

underclassmen from UGA that included Green, Houston, Boykin, Sturdivant, Walsh, and a few more. And he told

them that if it is a lockout don't let that affect their decision to come out. They said that was done behind

closed doors. They also said that may be an indication that it probably won't be a lockout.

I hope that he told them this: Why not forgo the draft, and we will promise you AJ, a great contract.

You know... now that you mention that... Players come into the league all the time who were not drafted. What prevents teams from just offering contracts without them going through the draft?

I figure there must be some league rule about that, but I don't know what the rule would be exactly.

Would not believe one word that comes out of McKay's mouth. This is the same guy who said he was concerned with the safety and health of players so he supports flag football rules for receivers yet he wants to extend the season by two games.

Mr. Blank you already fired McKay from the GM position because he was a complete disaster please don't let this guy screw up the game of football that we all know and love.
