I'm SHOCKED to see Stephon Gilmore on there. He might have led our team in tackels, I'm not sure. That is very rare for a cb without a doubt. But he's been beaten so badly so many times this year that it's caused me to seriously question if we needed to sit him on the bench at times.

I'm very happy to see Marcus get the Freshman of the year award and I think he probably earned it too, but if Aaron would have gotten it I don't think I would have had any real problem with that.

I think it helped that you guys had such a good year but Lattimore really was phenomenal this year.

I'm surprised he got first-team All-SEC but I have no problems with that either.

All I know is that both of our teams would have been significantly worse off without Lattimore and Murray, respectively.

No doubt about that. And we've got at least 2 more times to watch them go at it as well. I don't know what to expect from UF next season. They have tons of talent in many spots, so they may be great much sooner than later. UT closed out really strong, even if they were not facing really top flight teams, so they may be much better next year as well. And then there's UGA and SC, who should both be pretty good next year too. I'm already looking forward to spring practices kicking off.

I'm not expecting the east to be this down for long at all, and I'm assuming it will improve (USC, UF, UT, and UGA at least) pretty significantly next year.

A lot can change between now and kickoff 2011, but I'm cautiously optimistic about our chances in the East next year with all things considered (who could come back, who we're bringing in, S&C changes, etc)

We'll find out real quick whether I'm right or wrong once the season starts

Got to agree with Xnex, not sure if Gilmore should be on there. Our DBs have been terrible and he has gotten beat a lot. I mean I guess he could be on there as a run stuffing CB...

Any ideas what happened?

He was touted as a top 2-3 CB in the league before the season started

I mean I guess you could say a sophmore slump, but theres been times when our secondary has not been on the same page. Our Safetys/Spurs were being told one thing and CBs were being told another, so obviously the secondary would have its issues. LB play has hurt as well. We dont have our ideal LBs healthy to fit in the 4-2-5 (spur) lineup.

No way Pouncey should be on the second team.

Can it be considered a "clean sweep" even without "FOY." I think Lattimore won it, I don't think he plays for AU last time I checked. He almost did but it seems that Moma was not too fond of your recruiting approach.

Congrats on the "great" (?) season though.

Pouncey is one heck of a lineman, but by no means is he an all conference center. He couldn't even figure out how to snap the shotgun consistently for half the season.

ben jones should have been on their over pouncey or even the center from bama.. he did not deserve this honor with his horrible play at center this year.

Oh yeah that's true sorry "almost" clean sweep I guess I'll have to settle for just OPOY, DPOY, and COY and a trip to Glendale :( why oh why could we not get Lattimore :(

Dent quietly had himself a great season, amazing what Belin was able to get out of him.

Dent was a warrior this year and really played great from start to finish

Him making 2nd team is both a testament to his work-ethic/ability and the ability of Belin to coach guys up

Congrats to both
