The Birds are the truth
I think I'd rather spend the money on both lines. If we do that we will get better on both sides of the ball.Agree. Nobody wouldn't I mean Nobody would be able to stop the Falcons period. Unlike the Cards, we actually have running game which will create a unbeatable balance offense. Since forever. Get er done. Get that done and it's over. Trust me.
The Birds are the truth
We tend to make 1 big free agency spend a year. If it was for Fitz than I think it would work. Roddy is not a high ego type receiver, and neither is Fitz. That would give us the best two receiver combo in the league.+
mindgame
I'd rather go for Nnamdi.
The Birds are the truth
i see ppl saying we need to take care of our lines, well we could do that and still go after him, i mean we went after his ex teammate(boldin) so why not? clabo wont cost much if we resign him, and we got ppl like johnson and hawley ready to step up, so theres no need to dish out a whole bunch of money on the O-line.... i could see it as a dicussion to be made by this office, but who knos...it worked in AZ with boldin and fitz, it worked in san fran with rice an owens.... so can it work, yea two superstar WR who just want to win sounds good to me...+1 Wiseman88. Remember Randy Moss and Chris Carter. Your right. So.... why not?
theDIRTYcode
Too much money at one position, and we don't need 2 number one receivers. Fitz is a great player and one that would be welcome, but it's not our MO to throw it around the field. Plus, we have Roddy White and we just need a good number 3 receiver. This is all relative anyway...we may not have football next year...
Peyton
Fitz doesn't fit the Falcons offense because the Falcons ball control concept calls for all scoring drives to last 10 plays or more.So...it's a bad fit.

Get er done. Get that done and it's over. Trust me. What your saying FFS1970 your not happy with Dahl, Clabo, Sam Baker or Peria Jerry? But if your saying we need more fuel to the Fire, then we are on the same page. But I feel yeah. The Falcons been needing a nasty 325 pounder on both sides of the ball for the longest. We need some space eaters.
The Birds are the truth
I'd rather go for Nnamdi.Nnamdi is not going anywhere after that big contract he signed. Tell me if I'm "wrong"
dudouble
Dan Snyder will buy him .. muahahahahaha.( evil laugh ).. u know he will try to get him for his mockery of stars that can't play as a team.
Falcons 'til Death
Robert Mathis would be the guy I like for us to sign if possible in stead of Fitz. Makes more sense to sign a vet DE and draft a receiver in a deep draft for offensive play makers. If we splurge for one FA next year it I hope it's him. Peyton
what will happ to Finn / Jenkins?I don't know if Finn would be around or not, but if the Falcons signed Fitz, I would imagine that Jenkins would certainly be cut.

Dem Birds
Oh, I think it would be fantastic. I just would hate it if Larry outshined Roddy! He wouldn't. Roddy is the better overall player. If 2 receivers in the NFL could work together, it would probably be White and Fitz. But it won't happen and probably shouldn't. KANE337
We just signed Jenkins to a 5 year deal in 2008. We re-signed Roddy last year. It isn't happening here with Fitz.
MattyIceIsSoNice
Oh, I think it would be fantastic. I just would hate it if Larry outshined Roddy! So what if Roddy had another year like he's having now? On top of that Fitz is outshining him! You'd hate that? Sounds like an undefeated season if two WRS put up those kind of numbers.

SoLuvinMyFalcons
I just don't know. I'd love to have Fitz. He's definitely a great character guy for us, but I just don't think it's a good idea to have 2 superstar wide receivers.Depending on egos!! I don't believe him nor Roddy has big egos that they couldn't work together.
Captain Falcon
Fitz is one of my favorite players not in a Falcons uniform. I would LOVE to get him here, but I doubt it will happen. Plus it would be hard to get him and Roddy the ball.
Tribal Chief
Fitz is one of my favorite players not in a Falcons uniform. I would LOVE to get him here, but I doubt it will happen. Plus it would be hard to get him and Roddy the ball.Think about it. Gonzo will be gone assumingly. I know this may sound stupid but let HD walk and move Jenks to the slot and we could possibly have the same situation Arizona had last season where 3 WR's had 1'000 yards. I don't know if all three accomplished it though. That type of situation would also lighten Turner's load. Only thing that would stop it is the money. Gonzo leaving will free up about $18 mill I think. I'm sure no one will agree with that but that's just a thought Edited December 4, 2010 by ya_boi_j
