I don't know. Google is my homepage and they have that little icon advertisting Google Chrome so I just went there. So far it's working to my liking.

I've dropped Firefox in favor of Chrome on slower computers because Firefox eats up a lot of memory. On my main computer, I use Chrome as my main browser as well but keep Firefox in case of issues with certain websites.

You can import your Firefox bookmarks to Chrome.

Plus Chrome has a huge amount of extensions for it, too. The advantage Chrome has in that department is that updating and installing extensions happens on the fly. You don't have to restart the browser.

Even updating Chrome itself takes place in the background. You never notice it update, and it never asks you to. You open your browser a few weeks later, and you find out you've gone from version 6.0 to 8.0.

Plus, when one webpage/tab crashes Chrome, only that tab will be closed. All the others will remain up and running.

I use both Firefox and Chrome. I just prefer to have a lot of information in front of me over the clean look of Chrome.

I think the clean look of Chrome is what I like about it so much. Not all that useless space being taken up.

i think i found a good ad blocker for my chome friends. its called ad thwart.

i have used it before, but after some more searching, if you add a few more block lists, its been pretty great imo.

id recommend getting it now.

here is a list of the blocking lists i added

abp:subscribe?location=https%3A%2F%2Fsecure.fanboy.co.nz%2Ffanboy-adblock.txt&title=Fanboy%27s%20List

abp:subscribe?location=https%3A%2F%2Fadversity.googlecode.com%2Fhg%2FAdversity.txt&title=Adversity

abp:subscribe?location=http%3A%2F%2Fmalwaredomains.lanik.us%2Fmalwaredomains_full.txt&title=Malware%20Domains

abp:subscribe?location=https%3A%2F%2Fadversity.googlecode.com%2Fhg%2FAntisocial.txt&title=Antisocial

all you have to do is once adthwart is installed, go to your extensions page, and go to options for adthwart

then at the bottom where it says add url, add those.

I wanted to like Chrome but I can't. I'm sticking with FF. I hate the tabs on top. It's just farther to go to click them. There's also some sites that don't work so well with Chrome though they work perfect with FF. Fonts on the Mac look better in FF.

FF with the right extensions is the best browser around.

lol Mac :P
