In St. Louis, watching the local Rams pre-game show

Local media is giving the Falcons a lot of respect. 3 of the 4 people hosting the show picked the Falcons to win. The one dissenter picked the Rams scoring a couple of defensive touchdowns to beat the Falcons.

About key match ups they featured 2 Univ. of Missouri alumns Moore and Spoon. They said those two did a lot of jawing at Mizzou so Rams will get an earful from them. They also talked about Abraham going against Ram rookie T whose 6'4" 323 pounds. This guy has 60 pounds on Abe but may not have the quickness to handle his speed. Their #1 receiver Amendola was acquired from Philly's practice squad. Chris Long leads team in QB pressure and QB hits so Baker has his hands full.

Good luck in St. Louis. I was trying to go but my schedule wouldn't allow it.

That rookie tackle is Staffold, who I don't think is very good.

Amendola is a good player, but I think Grimes should be able to cover him well. Both are small quick little guys.

Chris Long is finally showing why he was worth the #2 pick back in 08. Their defensive line is nothing to sneeze at.

I honestly don't know anything about the Rams other than they're bad.

They are playing well this year. Bradford is looking like the truth, especially with his lack of WR's and mediocre line.Their defense is really coming around. Their front 7 has been pretty dang good. Remember that Spags was the DC for the Gints on their SB run, and is finally getting a set of pass rushers up front.

The Rams gave us a run for our money last time. I think it was 24-22 at the Dome. Bradford is for real, Stephen Jackson is legit, and they will be competitive in the next few seasons, but seriously they're 4-5 in a crappy division. This is kind of a must win for the Falcons.

The rams are 4-1 at home and we are not as strong on the road. I hope we can start playing well on the road because our 2 losses have been on the road. This is a conference game that will help our lead in the conference.

I think Baker will be OK w a little help. Long has a crazy motor, so Baker will have to play to the whistle. BUT, he isnt a super speedy guy, although he is athletic, so that bodes well for Baker.

Baker has looked real good the past 2 weeks, and as long as he doesnt get burned on the jump by a speedster, he does OK.

Does Long play RE for them though? I thought he was more of a LE prospect coming out, since he was a 3-4 DE @ UVA.
