After the Auburn/UGA Game, I came to you with a humble congratulations on a game well played. However, I've had just about enough of yall saying the terrible thing's you've said about Auburn. Yall would flip the heck out if I said half of the awful things about UGA that yall have said about Auburn. I didn't say anything during the AJ Jersey saga that I recall, but yall have become downright mean and vindictive.

I do not wish another AJ Jersey incident upon your school. I **** sure don't wish upon you anything like we're going through. So how about having a little respect and laying off with the "I hope Auburn burns and gets the death penalty, those dirty cheating scumbags." As several of the more reasonable posters have pointed out, ANY school that the NCAA/FBI started digging around, including UGA, would be screwed. But until that evidence is uncovered, could you not kick me in the ribs while I lay on the ground? Thanks guys.

I think UGA fans are just frustrated at our underwhelming season, the way the game went down (which was mostly a good game minus very few plays), and even the possibility of Auburn not getting punished IF they have done something wrong, while we got hammered with the jersey thing.

People would be hating on you guys even without the Cam allegations just because you're ranked so highly. Everybody hated Florida when they were on top. Same for USC. I'm not saying it's fair, it's just the way it is. Add in all the allegations and that's the main reason I would think.

Its not directed at you. You are a fine person and poster. But I understand where you're coming from. THe nice guy gets tired of hearing what a giant whore his wife is. And you're essentially married to Auburn.

Relax though, they aren't getting the death penalty, they'll still be in the SEC. They'll just likely be forced to take the medecine they deserve to be taking if what is being said is true.

And we talk about it because it is potentially the biggest store in the recent history of college football. What is being bandied about makes the SMU stuff look like chump change.

I do feel bad for any good and reasonable Auburn fan in this whole thing. I would hate to be going through what you are going through. But please realize you are a very small portion of your own fanbase. Most Auburn fans have been running at the mouth like they never had a sorry season and act like every team in the country is beneath them. Even when it looks like there's no way Cam can escape this, a great many Auburn fans have gone on the offensive insulting peoples intelligence or flinging mud toward anyone that talks about it.

Personally I have avoided talking about the whole thing. I'm just waiting to see what comes out about the whole situation. I haven't talked any crap about Auburn outside of Nick Fairley and anyone who has defended that bs. There's no excuse for the way that punk conducts himself every single week.

I didn't care about the whole Cam Newton thing until after the game against Auburn. I was hoping before that he was vindicated. Now, after the game, and the way that Nick Fairley played and your idiot coach that was dancing around the field with him after his 4th or 5th dirty hit (which Fairley has been doing all season long), I'm disgusted by your program. I thought, at first that Fairley was an idiot and wasn't being reprimanded by the coaches. Now, however, after that incident, I believe he's being coached to play dirty. It's one thing to have one player that acts like an idiot, but the coach acting like an idiot and dancing with him is another. For those displays of classlessness, I sincerely hope that Scam Newton is found guilty and every game he's played in are forced to be forfeited. I also hope it happens right before the SEC Championship game. I didn't care about the allegations before, but now, I hope that they're true and punishment is severe. If the coaches weren't classless, I'd only want Fairley gone. But, since it's being congratulated, I want the entire program to go down. Sorry, but that's just how I feel OP.

If you're referring to me I was just repeating what MDrake said...essentially messing with him. I have respect for MDrake and wouldn't purposely say anything negative towards him. I have my feelings about Auburn after that game, I expressed them a little bit after the game and feel no need to go any further with them. They've got good fans like MDrake and bad fans just like any program. Theres no point and making anyone feel unwelcome on this board by constantly bashing their program in a non constructive way. I usually like to kid with other fans just for grins, I typically mean nothing bad by anything I say.

Thanks for the responses guys. Auburn fans have been running their mouths. I hate getting on facebook since this story first broke, most of the Auburn fans I'm friends with look like idiots. I love that Auburn rallied around Cam like they did, but people are doing it in ignorant ways. I hope Cam feels loved and appreciated, because I have the sneaking suspicion he's jumping ship to the NFL to make his millions and know where every single TV camera is in some pro stadium while we're left with the repercussions of his father's and/or his actions.

Yep, that part angers me about the NCAA and just the way things are. Unless it's a situation where the institution knew and did nothing, they are unfairly punished while the star player goes on to make their money with no repercussions in the NFL. The university, coaches, players, and recruits that aren't even in the program yet are all hurt by what one individual or his family decided to gain for themselves.

If half of these rumors about Auburn and AU boosters is true then the university deserves whatever punishment they receive, but I do feel bad for the fans I can relate to. If Georgia were in this situation, I would find it very hard to talk trash to anyone... I would just want it to not be true and go away. So I feel for the fans like that, but not at all for the ones who have taken up their own campaign to argue and talk trash as if it changes any of the rumors or facts in the case.

If I said anything towards Auburn, it was in no way directed at you, but rather the more embarassing fans previously discussed. And even when the evidence is revealed, if it is revealed, I have no desire to kick you in the ribs, figuratively or literally.

On another note, I never want to hear the "hating" reference again applied to football. Seriously, could college football fans find a more asinine phrase to apply to such arguments?

The end of the UGA-Auburn game really just made me furious at Auburn in general. When you have the dirty hits, the mouth running, Trooper Taylor dancing around like an idiot, it's going to make us Georgia fans want bad things to happen to Auburn in an unrelated situation. It's just a bunch of anger that has manifested itself in what happened in that game, and we Georgia fans think that the only justice left would be Auburns football program burning to the ground. Not because we want them to be a dirty program, or because we want to know that they've done bad things, but because it's the only way we feel like we could get some payback for all of the BS Auburn was pulling in that game. Clean, well played game, no late hits, no Trooper Taylor, no fights, and us Georgia fans are hoping nothing comes out of Camgate (mostly for the sake of the SEC). but because of all of that built up anger, from the game, the season, the lack of justice regarding Nick Fairley, I think some Georgia fans just want to watch Auburn burn.
