Robinit
I saw Kroy out on the field playing all out. Finn had that strip; does he always play punt coverage? What else though? Edited November 20, 2010 by Robinit
Pauliwood
you confused me with past and future tense in the same sentence
phattywankenobi
Bierman and Nicholas were put back on ST.
Robinit
Oh, Nicholas too. That's going to be big in future games. Saints, Bucs, Eagles possibly. They all have big threats on KR and PR. If nothing else, I want them to continue that good play on ST
UnrealfalcoN
koenan got some deep kickoffs so that the returns had no chance. THAT was the biggest thing.

pzummo
They put Biermann and Grimes back on Special Teams. Nicholas was already out there. Our coaches were just putting all backups on ST before. The coverage unit wasn't getting it done so they added two of our starters to the coverage teams to fix it. I have mixed feelings about that though. On the one side, I'm really glad our coverage unit is playing a lot better. On the other hand, I wish it could've been accomplished without putting any of our starters out there.
AtlantaFalconPokerPro
Bierman and Nicholas were put back on ST.This. When Bierman became a full-time starter he was taken off of ST's. There has been an obvious improvement since the change.

For all those that wonder why we have to pull out a lot of games late, it's because of poor SPT play in most cases. Only Weems and Bryant have shined on that side of the ball. Glad the coaching staff recognized this and made an adjustment. The future is not promised so we need to make the most out of this season...no tommorrow in the NFL. He came up with that huge kickoff stop at the 9 against Balt on their last possession!I thought that was Weems. I remember thinking at the game that I was happy Weems got to redeem himself, because he was the one who whiffed on Spurlock the week before on that big TD Kickoff return(at least he was the first one to whiff, back near where they picked the ball up).
