MattyIcy
1) S.Jackson ( pound n ground beast! ) 2) Amendola ( 3rd down hunter!)What's your pick?
madman88
thats really easy, contain s.jackson and we win this game... bradford is a good young QB, but i dnt believe he can beat us throwing 30-40 times in a game if we stop the run early in the game..... there WRs dnt scare me at all... Dem Birds
Same person you've needed to stop for the past half decade. Steven Jackson. it's easier said than done though. Dudes a Mack.
MSalmon
i think our strategy is simple on defense. Blitz the heck out of Bradford. Make him beat us bottom line. The kid is a good decision maker but we should find out how good he is...Just like we did Flacco...The nice part about this is that we use the blitz to shut down the run effectively as well. On offense i think we do like we did with the ravens. Break out early and often. The rams, at this point, are not a great come from behind a big early deficit. Mid-Nite-Toker
I don't think it's a containment issue to win this game. If Falcons punt well, k/o well and cover said kicks well then the better team will win...Falcons. This aspect of SPT has kept ATL from winning handily in several games and forced the offense or defense to make plays late when the game was under wraps. Superb SPT and minimal T/Os will see the Falcons win going away.

Dr. Billings
Just keep Jackson under control...and call it a day!And the Falcons will. We have an awesome rotation on the defensive line. They'll prevail.
AtlFalc78
Stop the run. Goal has been the same all year and I don't expect it to change.

ki46dinah
Jackson is averaging 3.9 YPC, which shows the OL is struggling in the run game a bit.I dont think we will have a very hard time containing him if we stick to our run lanes. If we blitz a lot though we may get burned because Jackson is a good pass receiver, and a horse in the open field.AND Amendola has 50 some-odd catches, and will beat 1 v 1 matchups on 3rd and short.I think our defense will have a harder time against Bradford passing than most others think...unless we can get pressure with 4 or 5 man fronts. sporkdevil
I really think this will be a tough game. Chris Long has 4 sacks in the last 3 games. They are looking unusually solid on both sides of the ball. Especially with our tendency to play games close, I expect it to be a lot more difficult that some people are believing. 1989Fan
single cover the WRs and fill the line to either stop SJ or crush Bradford.8 in the box all day long.

He faced San Fran, Carolina and Tampa Bay.He had 2 the week prior against SD, but that was without McNeil of course. He is a good player, but not the best DE we have or will face. He also isnt the fastest which bodes well for Baker.
Goal Line D
They've been real good at home this year so it'll be your typical NFL slugfest for sure. But yeah....containing Jackson is key. Make the rook beat ya.
ki46dinah
If we can get our run game going, the Rams will simply lose...but if we give them short fields b/c our O has difficulty moving the ball, they will put up a TD or 2 to go with a myriad of field goals.AND we are playing them at home.No reason we should lose this one, but thats why they play the game. WCFalcon
As long as we contain Jackson, the Rams will become one-dimensional. They're screwed without Jackson.

DirtyBirdSupabowl
Our best defense is going to be our offense. We need to jump out on them and take a lead which in turn will take S-Jax out of the game and force Bradford to win the game with Predator and Babs coming after him and an opportunistic defense behind them. Thelonious Mingus
Honestly this should be an easy win. Our run D is solid. Our pass D is suspect but so is the Rams pass O.

They keep making plays with bad WR's. It's really weird.
Mid-Nite-Toker
Rams are as real as the Tampa Bay Bucs more points scored against vs scored for. Their 4-1 record at home is concerning but a team giving up more points than they score should be handled by ATL. I expect a lot of grit and heart from them but "if we are who we think we are" it should be another W. They beat San Diego at home but they are not as healthy as ATL. Not overlooking just think we are heads above the Rams.
