I'm really worried these rams.

the rams lead the league in sacks

lost 3 games by less than 3 points

Bradford is putting up Ryan's rookie year like stats with the exception of getting sacked more and less long throws.

They are definitely good; its just that people think they still suck.

He's going to be a good QB.

Ryan after 9 games as a rookie: 6-3 record for 66.7%, 149 of 250 for 59.6%, 1909 yards, 11 TD, 5 Int, 89.9 rating, 12 sacks

Bradford after 9 games: 4-5 record for 44.4%, 201 of 334 for 60.2%, 1925 yards, 12 TD, 8 Int, 78.2 rating, 20 sacks

Not bad at all for the rookie.

I will note though that Ryan's 2 worst games of his career came in the 2nd and 4th game - Tampa away and Carolina away. Those numbers really drug his stats down incredibly over that 9 game stretch. Tampa - he had a 39% completion rate, no TD, 2 Int, and a rating of 29.6 - that one really brought his numbers down drastically. Carolina wasn't much better - with a 51% completion rating - 0 TD/INT and a rating of 60.8 - which were also 2 of his 3 losses. His numbers without those 2 games = 85.7% win record, 65.3% completion, 11 TD, 3 Int, QB rating of 108 and 6 sacks. What a huge difference.

The offense runs through Steven Jackson, and to a lesser degree, Danny Amendola.

However, Jackson is only averaging 3.9 YPC...which means the OL is struggling to block some in the run game.

That works in our favor, b/c our run D has been generally good this season.

Danny Amendola has 52 catches, with the next closest receiver having 26 catches...so you know they will be throwing to Amedola on 3rd down.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

On their defense, James Hall and Chris Long are KILLIN teams...and they like blitzing their DB's.

If our OL holds up OK, I think Ryan will make them pay on their blitzes.

Not to mention, if we get Turner rumblind it will be a long day for their pass rushing guys.

The Falcons lead the league in wins

lost 3 games by less than 3 points

Unlike 29 other teams we haven't lost three games.

Bradford is putting up Ryan's rookie year like stats with the exception of getting sacked more and less long throws.

Matt Ryan sleeps with a football for his pillow and can count to infinity backwards.

.....just sayin'.

If Falcons half-arse it then they will lose. Rams are a good team, not great but good and play extremely well at home. If the Falcons make the mistake of sleeping on them, they will pay.

I don't think the Falcons will sleep on them, but hey, after beating Baltimore some may feel 10ft tall and bullet proof.

Our team seems like they are focused and not getting ahead of themselves.

As long as the defense wraps up Steven Jackson, we'll be fine.

what will you do about Amendola on 3rd down mate? that guy is a beast too!

what about Slick Sam??? looks like Mattyice in his first year.......dont be fooled by his baby face!

I expect a low scoring game with falcons win by a field goal yet again!

I remember the game back in 2008. I don't know if STL is better this year or 2008. Steven Jackson ran all over us if I remember correctly but we won 31-27. Lets go FALCONS...show them who we are!

RISE UP!!!

I have that game on DVR & was watching it over the weekend.........they have ALWAYS given us tough run for our W !

Especially, S.JAckson & now Amendola & slick Sam!

But, on flip side.....we have our D revamped big time with Dunta & Spoon on the field ......I think we will be fine!
