Dustin
It made me sick all the "We want Vick" chants last year. We have had great energy at the Dome and I am wondering if all the Vick huggers will cheer for the Falcons or Vick. Thats more what Im worried about, we can beat them, but the crowd def helps the team....
crankdatfalcon
those chants only came because d-mcnabb was the starter and people wanted to see vick for the first time..now with vick being the starter, their wont be those chants, but you may still have your occasional die hard vick/falcon fans cheering for him, but i think with a playoff atmosphere, things will not be the same. It was a prime time national game and there were a ton of Ravens fans there. If Vick came to the Dome for the NFC Championship game it would not surprise me if there was a split crowd.I think you would definitely hear a lot of cheers if the Eagles won that game and kept us from going to the Superbowl... which would make me sick.Again these would not be Falcons fans but Vick and Eagles fans... I am a season ticket holder and every game I've ever been too there's always a group of the other teams fans in my section and I've moved around over the years... and I don't think it would not be any different for an NFC Championship game... which disgusts me. President Frankenstein
No they can not. It will be a disaster. And to be honest, i am not liking how this is setting up. And you know what else, if this happens and the falcons do not win, we'll have to relive it over and over again as we start seeing the advertisements for the made-for-tv movie that will soon follow. crankdatfalcon
well let them come, and spend their money at the dome, only to watch their favorite QB lose and go the h#ll home while we go to the superbowl..

vabchbirdlover
Sorry if I might offend you, but speaking of looking - Why not look at the thread, a couple/three below this one, which, surprise, suprise! looks eerily simular to this and make your thoughts known. Just saying.
coastiemike
We will not lose at home in a playoff game, especially to the Eagles. We have played them once. The coaching staff will have the team ready, unlike the last game. Bring them on and everyone stop being scared. Sheesh. We have a **** good team. Nothing would make me more happy than shutting all those Vick fans up by destroying that Vick team in the playoffs.

Im only concerned about our fans filling the Dome and making noise when we don't have the ball. Everything else is left to the players on the field. When our fans are booing the other team and cheering for ours the way it goes down in every other city that has an advantage due to crowd noise, fans of the other team won't matter. That game last year was a blowout and I pray that it was majority of Philly fans doing that cheer. Don't ruin it for me if that's incorrect. I know at my section we didn't cheer for Vick. I stopped that when he put on green and white and walked into our dome as an opponent. Rebirth, redemption, and ultimately, a hero.(i wonder if anyone here has read "Hero with a thousand faces".) Story could be wrote in a week using the "Hero with a thousand faces" formula that assisted in making such classics as the Odyssey, Stars Wars, and the Karate Kid. Obviously , the Karate Kid being the most epic.

jescofalcon
It would be aweful to have Falcons fans cheering a Vick touchdown during a playoff game in the dome. You know it would happen as it did last year during the Philly game. I'm a STH in sec. 209 and a STH sitting 4 rows down from me was sporting a Philly Vick jersey and was going crazy when Vick scored those two touchdowns on us last year. This was embarrasing and disgusting and to think that it would happen in a playoff game at home. I mean WTF!

fansince78
I am sure that there would be some that cheered for Vick until the Falcons put the game out of reach and then they would change their tune.

phattywankenobi
I was at the game. Most of the people there were Falcons fans. When the team tanked in the last quarter just as Vick went on the field there was a mass exodus out of the building. The crowd leaving seemed to be nearly as many as when everyone leaves at the same time in a close game. What you have left are the small percentage of Vick fans only. ESPN made a story out of it and the rest is non sense that gets repeated on every media outlet and message board. This is just as bad as the Saints fans thinking the Dome was quiet last week because that's the way it sounded on TV.This perpetual myth is just an insult to all of the dedicated Falcons fans who actually attend the games.I hope the Eagles do have to come to the Dome to put an end to this myth. ShadowChaos
They will be there cheering on Vick & Eagles. They probably couldn't name one other player on the Eagles. I guess now that the media is in love with Vick again they feel redeem for sticking by him.

I urge all of you to join me.Thank goodness most of the Vick fans are, in fact, imbeciles. They will be cheering for Vick when he is on offense before the center snaps the ball. They will be making it harder for him to concentrate. Stupidity backfiring is something best to witness in person.

Sidious
OUR Fanbase is made of Falcon fans. If we are hosting the NFCCG that dome will be rocking with 90% Falcon fans. Vick will be booed as well as his team the entire game.
