vel
Where'd you find these?! I know ESPN but they aren't there yet I'm just glad the almighty "trap game" term hasn't been thrown around much this week. That is the most annoying thing. GTFalcon25
Wow, I didn't know they posted those under rankings before the article came out. Besides, I was pretty sure that's where we would be anyway.

The Great American
Why is being #1 such a big deal on these boards? Just asking.
rubber tuckie
its better than being 32.

5uperbad06
Why is being #1 such a big deal on these boards? Just asking.Me personally I just want some recognition for our team and players. I grow tired of us playing good and people saying teams that we already beat are better than us.

rubber tuckie
perception is reality. you could be a great worker but fly under the radar. i would rather be that guy that is a great worker and get the recognition as well. 5uperbad06
Saints been popular ever since Brees came to town, not to mention Katrina.Saints were lame before katrina. Got popular the year they went to the NFC championship. Became lame the next year when they went I think 8-8. Then got popular again last year. They are full of bandwagon. blackredfellow
Why is being #1 such a big deal on these boards? Just asking. Why is there always a handful in every ranking thread asking why we care about rankings? Obviously lots of people find them interesting, or they wouldnt be created by every sports outlet known to man. Rankings arent gonna stop, and neither are the threads about the rankings. Are they useless? Yes, but why not let the rankings start discussions about the accuracy of it.
dvt5045
funny this is posted online but it dosen't seem like it, judging by ESPN's coverage of the Falcons. Edited November 16, 2010 by dvt5045

Ryan Bartkowski
Why is being #1 such a big deal on these boards? Just asking. After decades of self-imposed mediocrity, give or take 3 or 4 years of decent play, it is just nice to see the Atlanta Falcons getting credit for being a great team. Of course it means nothing in the grand scheme of future success, but it is nice. The real question is why are so many Falcon fans unhappy when the team is good? aerosmith67
Why is being #1 such a big deal on these boards? Just asking. They give people something to talk about... it's like asking why do Presidential Job Approval polls matter? They only truly matter every few years but they give folks something to talk about and discuss.
Robb4242
1 (3) Falcons 7-2 Confident, rested Falcons must guard against letdown when visiting improved Rams. (Sando)Well this sucks. I'd prefer to not be #1 on anybody's list until we win the superbowl.
