FOR A GUY WHO SPENT ALMOST 19 MONTHS IN JAIL.

FOR A GUY WHO MISSED 19 MONTHS FROM THE

NFL. YOU'D HAVE NEVER THUNK IT. THIS GUY IS

LIGHTING UP THE SCORE BOARDS. WHO SAID HE CAN'T

THROW THE FOOTBALL? WHO SAID HE'D NEVER PLAY

IN THE NFL AGAIN? LIKE IT OR NOT, THIS IS A

GOOD STORY. YES, MIKE VICK IS A FEEL GOOD

STORY. A GUY WHO MAKES GOOD, IN SPITE OF HIM

SELF. WHEN THE EAGLES SIGNED MIKE VICK,

THEY PURCHASED A GOLD MINE. GOOD FOR MIKE.

ONE MISTAKE DOESN'T DOOM YOU. B)

MAKE THE FIRST MISTAKE, AND BE CAREFUL

WHO YOU SELECT AS FRIENDS. THE ROAD

Just incredible. Imagine if he was mature and actually cared when he was here...

HE WAS A KID, A KID SURROUNDED WITH BADNEWS FRIENDS. THE 19 MONTHS GAVE MIKE TIME TO THINK ABOUT SOME THINGS.

AND 19 MONTHS IS TIME ENOUGH TO FIND OUT, THE BADNEWS FRIENDS DON'T VISIT YOU, THEY DON'T EVEN WRITE YOU. IN 19 MONTHS, YOU THINK ABOUT, "DO I WANT TO THROW IT ALL AWAY?" THE WAY MIKE VICK IS PLAYING ..... THIS IS HIS ANSWER.

Can you imagine how his career would have turned out if Andy Reid drafted him? If he had been in a Eagles offense his entire career, we may , right now, be talking about him in terms of HOF availability, when he retires.

I DON'T THINK SO. IF THE EAGLES HAD DRAFTED MIKE, THEY WOULD HAVE DRAFTED THE SAME MIKE THAT WE DID. MIKE WOULD HAVE ENDED UP DOING THE SAME THINGS THERE OFF THE FIELD, THAT HE DID HERE. THE PROCESS HAS MADE MIKE A BETTER PERSON. ANDY REID HAS MADE HIM A BETTER QB. MIKE NEEDED TO GO THROUGH SOME THINGS. AND THOSE THINGS HAVE PUT HIS FEET BACK ON THE GROUND.

I CAN'T STAND THE EAGLES. THEY WERE KILLING

US AT WILL, EVEN WHEN WE HAD MIKE. THEY LOVED TO

MESS UP MIKE AND THE FALCONS. BUT I'M HAPPY FOR

MIKE.

Who knows though? You know what I mean? Maybe the leadership up in Philly would have been enough for him to straighten his life out before it spiraled out of control.

I don't really like the Eagles. I hated Vick, but since he did his time and lost everything, I'm pulling for him to succeed. With him, I believe the Eagles are the best team in the nfl.

YOU MENTIONED MIGHT HAVE COME OUT DIFFERENTLY.

WE'LL NEVER KNOW. BUT SOONER NOT LATER, WE

WILL MEET PHILLY AGAIN. WE OWE THEM BIG TIME.

WE WILL FIGURE OUT HOW TO DEFENSE HIM.

If its in the dome we have a chance... the biggest reason we lost last time is the fact Reid did stuff we have not seen on film before.

You can only do that so many times.

Not to mention that was a turning point for our offense.

ever since that beat down the falcons have averaged near 30 points and just under 400 yards a game on offense.

Its not just what we have done but its the way we have done it. We have put the ball in Ryans hands a lot more and we have flourished.

I do think it would be a different ball game.

After seeing how Vick has been playing this season, the only way I see a defense actually stopping the Eagles offense is if they deliberately injure Vick to knock him out of the game.

I don't know if the Falcons WRs back in the day just sucked, or if it was the playcalling or if Vick was just horrible as a passer, but he looked extremely inaccurate back in the day. It's like night and day, the difference between him then and now. It really fuggles with the mind. :lol:.

Now, the joker looks as accurate as Brees did last season. Like he couldn't miss, even if he tried. How will a team stop that? All his WRs now can catch almost everything thrown their way. How the heck is a defense going to successfully spy/rush Vick while keeping in mind that in a split second he can flick the wrist and hurl the ball 50+ yards down the field with pin point accuracy to any of his receivers?

If the Falcons do meet up with the eagles. It may be best if it's in Philly. If Vick is half as electrifying as he has been, then the stadium will be tearing at the seams with "WE WANT VICK!" chants as their fallen hero becomes "superman" again. That can't be good for Ryan's confidence, if it happens.

Falcons/Eagles would be a good match-up. I was counting on watching the Giants/Eagles match-up until I saw the Giants start to implode in on themselves this week. Looks like it may be a repeat of last season for them.

Falcons/Eagles already matched up and we basically blew them out with Kolb at QB.

Until I see Vick play against Atlanta in Atlanta and not hear , what sounds like, most of the fans chanting for him, that Dome in Atlanta will remain Vicks home.

FANS ARE CHEERING FOR HIM NOW. BUT WHEN THEY

SIGNED HIM, THEY WANTED TO HANG ANDY REID.

A lot of Eagle fans were fickle about Vick, I agree.

No doubt the Falcons will give it their all. Unless Vick is hindered by injury (either mild or serious) though, I don't see him being stopped. That's more of a positive for Vick and company than it is a negative toward the Falcons defense.
