Rev_Hal
Our remaining games:Rams - Road Green Bay - HomeTampa - Road Carolina - RoadSeattle - RoadNew Orleans - HomeCarolina - HomeOur 2 toughest games left - Green Bay and New Orleans - are both at home. Tampa will be tough on the road.If we lost 2 of these games, we finish 12-4, which I believe will be good enough for home field during the playoffs. In theory, if we stay injury free, we could run the table and end up 14-2.Thoughts? Sun Tzu 7
I honestly don't know and I mean this in a good way.Under the Mora years we would have started our late season collapse by now. When I look at the schedule I agree that Green Bay and New Orleans are the toughest remaining games and the team will be ready for those games. Tampa will be tough.I think we can run the table but this is the NFL so no game is a gimmie.
xXFlashFalconXx
I don't see why we couldn't. Running the table the remainder of the way is going to be about focus, preparation, and health. The first two I'm not worried about because this team seems to be focused on more than just the media's approval and they are going to strive to play their best football before the playoffs get here. None of those teams on that schedule are just flat out better than us and like you said, our two toughest games are in the leagues most horrifying stadium for opposing teams. We have the talent, we have the leadership, we have the coaching. Let's do it.
xXFlashFalconXx
And one more thing to add. That win over Baltimore shot our teams confidence level through the roof IMO. They know they can't beat ANY team in this league as long as they go out and play hard. Combine that with the fact that we take pride in playing our best football in the Dome and I think we having a winning combination fellas. It's going to be tough but can we do it? He!! yeah we can. GTFalcon25
It's possible. We have proven that we can win any of those games. But I'm trying not to get ahead of myself... Let's just worry about 8-2 against an under-rated Rams team that has been pretty good at their place.
BankerBird™
I was just saying this exact same thing to a good friend of mine (and fellow Falcons fan) from my church. If the Falcons can stay healthy, I honestly don't see why they couldn't - and shouldn't - run the table the rest of the way.
Quarterback
Of course we can...we could also suffer some serious injuries like last season and finish 2-5! We lose Ryan this Sunday to just a late hit and this is a totally different team and outlook. One game at a time, Rev, one game at a time--and let's enjoy the ride, game by game! Farmer2
I certainly thinks its possible to run the table. But IMO 12-4 will be good enough for the #1 seed. My only concern is with the Saints. That's the one game that really concerns me, mostly b/c if we lose to them then we're looking at either the #1 seed or the #5 seed depending on how things play out. That'll make all the difference right there.
FalconinPA
Anything is possible. It would be hard, but it can be done. However, I would love to have our starters not to even see the field in the last game against the Panthers. That means we will have a first round bye and home fied advantage. Bring It
In this crazy upside down NFL season anything can........and will happen. We could win 'em all except lose to Carolina at the Dome with Tony Pike throwing for 400 yards.I have totally given up predicting ANYTHING. As Smitty says and does sooooooo well............take it one game at a time boys.

vabchbirdlover
Maybe - Saints/Packers (home games), TB (away) are tough games, but I would not look past our next road game against the Rams. To me, a win in St Louis will set the tempo for the remaining games. In other words, I'm clueless.
blizzard_falcon
It's tough. I still don't quite have the confidence to declare 14-2 because we've only been average on the road this season. Heck, we've had to come from behind to win most of our home games!I still think we will continue to improve each week as the season wears on though and I think 12-4 is a very realistic goal. As someone already mentioned, that should also be good enough for the #1 seed... I don't see any other NFC team getting that far this year. Joremarid
it's possible but it wont happen. either we will clinch early and rest or we'll lose a game or two along the way. i think 12-4 is very realistic.

aerosmith67
Can they? Yes. Will they? Odds are no, not with the parity in the NFL this season.
Falcons_own_nfc_south
We lost 1 game then won 4 games in row. then we lost to Eagles and have won 3 games in row. So GB becomes the 5th game. Can we beat them? Call me stupid but I did expected Falcons to beats the Ravens and tight loss to GB. if we beat the GB. Oh my oh my

The "X factor" is our ability to remain HEALTHY....If we can do that, I like our chances to run the table. We have to take it "1 game at a time" and not make the mistake of overlooking any 1 opponent. The NO game will, perhaps, be our toughest remaining game, for obvious reasons... CrimsonFalcon
I've mentioned this to a buddy of mine and he thinks we will be at least in the NFC Championship game. We've got the talent to hang with any team in the NFL.I showed him the remainder of the games and he says that we should run the table. I agree, but would not be surprised if we dropped one or two during the home stretch. 13-3 sounds good, 12-4 isn't too bad, but 14-2 would be great.Dallas here we come!! Not that it can't be done, but it's highly unlikely.Just secure home field if possible and take it from there. Right now it's one game at a time and get everybody back healthy for the late season push. Dallas did the Falcons a huge favor, just play your game and don't squander it against a team like the Rams. Right now the Falcons are good even **** good but there is a loooooong way to go.
