Somehow the talking heads will spin it so the Saints are the best NFC team or just over look the Giants bad loss at home and keep trumping them.

Let's see we have the best NFC record we beat the Saints on the Raod and the giants just lost badly at home to a 1-7 team.

nope we simply can't be the best team in the NFC right?

And we just beat the Ravens, who were in the top 3 or 4 of everyone's rankings. But the Raven's team we played sucks.....they'll be awesome again next week, and our win against them didn't really happen.

St. Louis is all we need to worry about right now. One game at a time. Play'em like they are the last team on our schedule and we need that win to reach the playoffs. Take care of our business and not let everyone else's business interfere with our focus.

Lets Go FALCONS!

RISE UP 12th MAN!

The Media will find a way to say the Cowboys are the best team because they beat the Giants.

or

They will blame the Giants loss on the power outage.

As long as I know the truth about my Falcons I don't give a **** about what anyone else thinks.

Who cares about the talking heads? Let them say what they want. Let them say the Giants are still better. Let them say the Saints are better. Let them pick against us in the playoffs and let them pick against us in the Super Bowl. We'll make there so called profession look like more of a joke then it already is.

That's right. I said SUPER BOWL.

They might pick the Saints, but I think if the Eagles win tomorrow it will be the Eagles that they will all pick in the NFC. As for tomorrow the talk will all be about the Cowboys.

They only way they will talk about the Falcons is if we have a two or three game lead over everyone else, but even then they will probably start talking AFC then.

Don't care what the talking heads think. Falcons are one game closer to playing all their playoff games at home.

They've got 3 more home games, 2 games against the panthers, 2 road games with sub 500 teams, a road game against a team we've already beaten- Falcons probably need 12 wins for home field advantage, maybe 13 to assure it.

This team can get 12-13 wins, esp. if Ryan continues his excellent play and Spoon comes back.

Here is the media takes on the Falcons - 101:

-If said Falcons beat an opponent with a winning record at home, they say we are too inconsistent and havent really shown it yet on the road to be considered elite.

-If said Falcons beat an opponent with a loosing record at home, they say we were suppose to beat the opponent and find a way to highlight every possible good thing that the opponent did, thereby downplaying the good plays from said Falcon players.

- If we loose to an opponent with a winning record on the road, they can again refer to the Falcons not being consistent enough on the road to be considered elite.

- If we loose to an opponent with a loosing record on the road, they.. the rule doesnt really apply here since said Falcons does'nt loose to teams with a loosing record.

- Same thing applies to individual players on said Falcon team.

I know it might be slightly exaggerated, but it sometimes feel as if this is the case.

Maybe its because all our games somehow manage to be close-grind-em-out fights where we prevail at the end?
