Falcons Are the Most Physical Team in the NFL

The Ravens got punched in the mouth and it felt good. Before the game Harbaugh is running is mouth about the Ravens are going to have a football "fight" and that's how they play. Ray Lewis is running around acting like he is the baddest man on the planet. Well how does it feel to get you a** handed to you Ravens!

Ray got slapped down like a punk by Mr. Turner and he didn't do crap after that. Rice got hurt, Reed got hurt, Heap got hurt. I loved watching our O line just tee off on the Ravens all night long. Dahl and the boys were having a great time running down the field and laying out Ray Ray and company.

Flacco looked like a deer in the headlights the whole game while Ryan and Roddy were laughing right before the game winning drive. I couldn't believe those dudes were laughing in that situation. Matty Ice is a stone cold killer with the game on the line. Reminds me of the true urban legend of Joe Montana pointing out John Candy in the stands to his teammates in the huddle with the game on the line in the Super Bowl.

My Steeler fan neighbor didn't talk so confident and condescending after the game in fact he looked scared and I would love for the Falcons to get another date with the Steelers so we can shove the football down their face and knock out Hines Ward once and for all.

You are absolutely correct. We are wearing teams out. I swear that the 2 Saint losses to Arizona and Cleveland were due to the physical and mental toll of the loss to us.

I think the MMA training is paying off. We have more endurance than our opponents, and it shows.

The Bengals and Browns looked wiped by the end of the game. I was stunned at how beaten the Ravens D looked.

this...we were definitely tougher, didn't execute in the running game. When Ryan answers with 300 yards and 3 TDs along with a game-winning TOUCHDOWN drive, I'm perfectly content though

On the replay of Snelling's touchdown, did anyone notice the "war yell" he was giving the Raven's DB? Broke him right down!

I agree with you 100% about the Saints losing after we beat them down. Only after they had time to get healthy did they start winning again.

Another thing I would point out is we are one player away on the defensive line from having a dominant defense. It may not even happen this year but if Peria Jerry recovers or Peters becomes a stud to go along with Babs, Abe, Biermann, etc we will be

pretty near unstoppable. I look forward the punishment we will hand out to Drew Brees.

I like our line and all but lets not get carried away... Turner had 39 yards rushing on 17 carries

It looked like our game plan was to let Matty Ice rip them to shreds and just use the run to keep them honest. Every time we completed a pass though the O line came roaring up to clean up the Ravens standing around the play.

They are pretty Physical but the MOST physical i tend to disagree. Harrison and the steelers were eating our line up, not to mention the Eagles as well.

You are flat out wrong. First of all we did move the ball on Pitt when we played them we just had trouble scoring points. With our offense currently on track we would have no trouble with their defense. Don't forget the Ravens beat the Steelers as well as the Saints. We had ample opportuntity to beat the Steelers we just did not get it done.

The Eagles game we were outcoached as much as we were outplayed. Our coaching has gotten much better since the Philly massacre so obviously adjustments have been made so that does not happen again.

I think our team is physical. But we played the Saints & another team right after they played the 49ers. The 49ers beat down the Saints physically even though they lost the game. If the Saints don't get healthy at RB (same goes for Colts), then they will have to rely even more heavily on the pass & lose any type of tough physicality. Running teams are tougher because the offense gets to hit D line instead of the opposite that occurs on a pass play.

We were out coached in philly but that doesn't excuse there dline blowing up our oline.

Dahl was getting manhandled by Harrison in that game and posters were ripping into the oline the whole week.

I respect your opinion but I don't see them as the MOST physical.

Dline however they are really stout.

The Steelers did not dominate us physically when they played us. Also if you watched the Steelers get lit up by the Patriots they are even less physical now. In fact I don't think it is even close at this point in the season between the Steelers and the Falcons. Clearly the Falcons are more physical than the Steelers as evidenced by the way we laid out multiple Raven players Thursday night.
