Wardog357
He has this look like a kid in a candy store.....excited as H***. I think he has two personalities, he looses that look completely after the game. He is defintely psyched.
Guest Gritz
Kid is absolute money when the game is on the line.We are lucky as **** to have him as our QB.Screw the haters and the Ookites. I'm tired of hearing from them and won't engage with them any longer.Get on the train or GTFO.
Finally
It might have been the booze but I wasn't even on the edge of my seat Thurs night when I saw how much time he had. I was more worried we would score to quickly and give them another shot. I just assumed he would get it done because he always does.
Finally
Oh and people are quick to give Freeman the clutch gene but each and every 3rd down is a clutch play. I bet if you compare 4th quarter comebacks and add in 3rd down conversions Ryan is easily top 5 in this league.
BCEagleATLFalcon
Loved hearing in the San Fran clips... "Right here, let's go! Do your job, we go right down this field and get out of here with a win, alright?" He believes it. Our offense believes it. And then **** if they don't just go out and get it done. FalconFanForLife
You "hope" and "expect" your starting QB to win some games on last minute drives, BUT to do it consistently is just absolutely amazing.I dunno if the NFL keeps stats on 3rd down conversions, but he looks like a wizard on 3rd down. JayOzOne
I liked it when my guy took that shot on Suggs' near sack to start the Drive. I'm sure Suggs was excited and thinking that momentum was his new best friend. No panic, just steady resolve on Ryan's face as he got up and won the game.Again.I like "Ice" but I personally refer to him as "Clutch". Both are so much fun to watch when the game is on the line.

I was more worried we would score to quickly and give them another shot. I just assumed he would get it done because he always does. That's exactly the point of the game when one of our MB members posted how frustrated he was and that he wished he had no emotional investment in our team because the Birds always tear his heart out. To put that into perspective, if we lost the game, we'd be 6-3 and half a game up in the division and he's ready to jump off the ship. =abrahamburger=
That look is all confidence. Confidence without being conceited is a very likable trait. This is also likable (for Falcons fans): 12 game-winning drives in 39 games for Matt Ryan. TWELVE!To put that in perspective, that's five game-winning drives per regular season. Five games where the opponent thought they had the game and then lost it. You have those kinds of numbers and you'll be pretty confident too.
Falco4
i was sitting in a bar in LA, surrounded by raven fans. The bar went wild when Heap caught that touchdown. They were talking so much trash to me (I had my #2 black jersey on). I smiled at them and told them that Ryan does his best work under 2 minutes. You should have seen the progression of their faces as Ryan marched them down the field.i love it how Ryan has shown falcon fans that the game is 60 minutes and that no matter what the score/circumstances, he will find a way to get it done. He did it in countless games at BC, so you can understand why all BC students worship him.
Brewcrew
#1 in the league in 3rd down conversions at 48% (we also are highest in the league by a large margin in 3rd down attempts, which makes it all the more impressive), and #2 on 4th downs at 78% conversion rate. One of my roommates is a RABID Ravens fan (she's from Baltimore originally), but she's also a BC grad, and the first thing she said after the Heap TD was, "D*mn, they left Matt time." BCEagleATLFalcon
Because you were promised two wins in 5 days for your present! :P Following that logic, I expect to be 9-2 at the close of November. Only real way to celebrate my birthday month.

I am pretty sure we were number 2 last week. When Ryan is healthy we are always in the top 4 or 5.When I was discussing the game this week with Ravens fnas and I looked at their last 3 games which showed a 50 percent conversion rate for their opponents I suggested that it might be a problem. People get so caught up in the big stats like where you are ranked offensively and defensively they don't realize they don't paint the correct picture. One of them predicted that Ryan would get picked off 3 times. I get it. They probably do not see many of our games but I told him that was a very bold prediction. didz
Its funny because I was sitting on the couch and saw the Ravens score. I looked at the time and didn't hesitate. I was upset because the Falcons defense didn't make the stop but I could comfortably say to myself, "Another comeback win for Matt Ryan." I looked at them & said..It isn't over yet!Matt was so clutch all throughout that game. Edited November 13, 2010 by Arkansas Falcon
