How do I even begin to cull it down this week?! :blink: EVERYONE, in my mind, contributed in some form or another to what is most certainly my favorite Falcons game in my young fanhood. My roommates are miffed at me for waking them up screaming angrily when Baltimore scored the go-ahead and then screaming ten times louder when Matty Ice worked his magic. I had to pull an all-nighter to finish the grad assignment I should have been working on when I was watching the game. Slept for 20 minutes last night. COMPLETELY worth it.

Now, down to business. Roddy White will be keeping his Hick'ry for the second quarter (presentation next week). But the third quarter has now begun, and with a vengeance!

What say you? Who's in the running to upset Roddy? You get 3 votes! I listed as many choices as the poll would allow! That was a team victory last night, and everyone who can fit deserves his shot at a vote! :P

If it was based on the one game. Matty ICED the Ravens D. Roddy gets my quarter vote, but Matt was nothing short of phenomenal.

Oh, Roddy's good to go for the second quarter! This one is all about who put himself in the running for the third quarter HSA.

Tandy, where are you? You predicted two wins in under a week for my b-day, and you were RIGHT!! :P

32 of 50 for 316 yards, 3 touchdowns, no interceptions; a good job running the no-huddle. I'm going with Matt Ryan in this one.

No doubt I was going with Matty Ice. All week everyone said the only was we win is if we get Turner going. We never got Turner going and Ryan stepped up and got it done. The way the game started it seemed like this was going to be Ryans game and the Falcons were not really concerned.

Edit- Didnt know we could pick 3. Would also have voted for White and Abe.

You know what BC? I wanna take my vote away for McClure and give it to more then one person...

I think the crowd at the Dome should win this poll, i dont think the Falcons would have won without the crowd backing their team up!

Great job to all those in attendance and to all of those screaming as loud as possible from their homes!

Too ban NFLN ruined that for everyone at home. <_< They must filter the sound or something, because it didn't sound loud very often at all on the broadcast.

Anyway, if that's the only complaint I have about the game, I'm in AWESOME shape!! :D

I went outside the pack, and voted 2 Matts and a Brian. Finn is just amazing me this year. For a guy so many here had pegged as "spent", he's definitely stepping up and playing hardball. I know he's not got a shot against some of the other dude's but got to show my appreciation in small ways, whenever I can.

Went with Matt Ryan: 300+ yds, 3TD's, NO Ints, kept his composure throughout the game

Went with Abe--two sacks, blocked pass, lots of pressure all game

Went with Matt Bryant: Didn't miss a kick and one was 51 yds.

Would liked to have added Koenen as a somehat unsung hero, for the superb kickoffs deep into the Ravens endzone to prevent any return yards; however, he also kicked a couple of knuckle-balls that looked somewhat shanked.

Side note: I've been to every home game over the last 5 seasons (STH) and the Thursday night game was the loudest I can remember--fans were really into the entire game and the place was packed--nearly everyone stayed until the game was over. Hope it becomes a habit!
