Bring It
Ray Lewis and his crybaby Crows will go to their graves whining about how the refs. "gave" the game to Atlanta.Really ??Folks if we all live to be 100 we still wouldn't have enough seasons for the Falcons to even out the HORRENDOUS calls they suffered for the past 43+ years...........35-38 of those years as NFL "Doormats", victims of every ref. in the league ready to bury them. Dozens of games were decided thruout Falcon history by the ever present yellow flag..............90% AGAINST Atlanta. ESPN could create a 2 hour documentary about it if they chose to.So, to whining Crow fans everywhere I say...............welcome to the "other side"...........our former world. Shiney_McShine
Bad calls? You bet!I saw Abe get hauled down several times with no penalty. This was one of those good games were the officials kept the flags in their pockets and let the teams play the game. john_winger
I did think the hit on Ryan after he was obviously sliding feet first might have warranted a flag, but Ryan protected his head and the ball, so no harm no foul.
aerosmith67
The Refs let the players play last night, that was pretty obvious. Ray can blame the officials, but where was he in the last 1:05? Bad calls are not going to stop you if you create a turnover, sack the QB or put any kind of serious pressure on the Offense.

He could barely walk off the field. LOL

aerosmith67
EXACTLY! I hate when the refs get too involved. One of the reasons the playoffs are so much better is they let them play. They swallowed the whistle for most of the game which was nice, the calls they did make were legit for the most part. The reviews were also very well done, even in the case of the Heap TD. Great team of Refs, I'd love to see that crew do the Super Bowl. ATLfanatic
If it was REALLY a bad call, you know Old Spice Ray Ray woulda been the first to call that out in a press conference, just like when they called the roughing the passer calls against them when they play the Patriots. Bottom line is we drove the field with a minute left for 80 yards against his defense. Even if it wasn't a push off, that ball was still thrown where only Roddy could have made the catch and at worst we're kicking a game winning FG from inside the 10 yard line. He has nothing to say

The ref was right there and saw the midget get beat badly and then resorted to his theatrics.Refs see this crap weekly and don't like it.............thus, no flag. baltimoreravens
I was going on about how nice this board was over at the Ravens board how you guys were talking football instead of talking smack. Funny how fans change after a game is decided...Crackheads, really? Anyways, we all (except the Steelers, Colts, Pats) get our fair share of bad calls. Last year we were the most penalized team in the league. We're no stranger to bad game-deciding calls ourselves, you're not the only team in the league with a pity party to attend. Regardless of the call, you guys outplayed us and won the game.

When Joe Flacco was drafted after Ryan I didn't think he would be anything special, but then again............how DO you know when they're so young ?? Joe is the "Real Deal" without any question. Flacco and Ryan are like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. Both different in many ways but both excellent.Excuse my cynical talk here, I'm not used to a Falcon team of this quality and polish. Thanks again. See you in Dallas in Feb. 2011. Captain Falcon
how about the muffed punt in 08 that caused us to lose to the Eagles. When Jennings never even touched the ball. We have had a good amount of calls go our way, but for YEARS we have lost so many games due to bad calls. It's not like the NFL loves us. BTW, if we win that eagles game, we win our division + we get homefield against arizona and have a better chance of making a bigger impact in the playoffs. Captain Falcon
honestly, even if a penalty costs you, you have to GET OVER IT. Because if you don't, it will eat at you and eat at you. That goes for falcon fans and ravens fans. Have to move on and even lie to yourself and tell yourself you guys lost fair and square because honestly, you will sleep better thinking you didnt get robbed.
