How was the Crowd?

I'm sure I'm reaching here, but I got to thinking about it, I wonder if one reason we ALWAYS take the ball first is because it allows our fans to get into the stands by the time our D gets on the field? Either way, watching on TV, the fans looked like they were there, and LOUD.

it was actually 95% full at kick off for the the first time that i have ever been at a game at the dome, that said the kickoff was supposed to be at 8:20, but didnt happen til around 8:33, so that helped

i was there tonight and the crowd was unreal, by far the craziest i have ever seen it and ive been to my share of games. when roddy scored the last td i thought the place was going to explode

I will second that---it was loud the hole game till Baltimore scored that 3rd TD---it got quiet then rose to the loudest I have ever heard on that final drive and TD

BTW---I would say 90% of the seats were filled at KO

This is good to hear. I was watching the game on the NFL Network and thought the Dome was quiet. I don't know why, but the NFL Network always drowns out the crowd noise too much when they broadcast their games. Did anyone else notice?

It was loud from my perspective! They were shouting D-Fence!, but it didn't stop the Ravens from scoring the go ahead TD!

CBS is the only network that seems to understand that the crowd/stadium noise adds to the TV experience. I noticed this when they used to broadcast the Daytona 500 as well, as they would mic the track where the analysts would have to practically yell over the cars. I'm always excited when CBS covers the Falcons games because they produce the games better than anyone else.

GA 400 SOUTH at 7pm was jam-packed with cars. I don't go that way at that time, so tell me if that's just routine.

I thought it was Falcon Fans/Baltimore transplants making me late for a date.

Yea or Nay?

GA400 has been a mess on game days lately, between the Bengals and the 49ers game I'm thinking about jumping on 285 for the Packers game. Not to mention it was also a work day so you have the extra traffic out of Dunwoody and other business areas.

I was on the sidelines and thought the crowd was fantastic last night. Not only that, but there were quite a lot of Ravens fans here, yet, Falcons fans still raised the roof.

All I can say is I am glad that I have the day off as I cannot even talk. Everyone around me was screaming, whistling and making as much noise the entire time the Falcons had the ball. The Dome never needed that guy to come on the screen and say I can't hear you. They did use the Samuel Jackson Rise Up a couple of times to get the volume cranking. Best crowd participation I had seen in quite some time for sure!

The road to Dallas is through the GA Dome!!!
