rudy
I thought that Roddy just fended off the DB with his hands. It wasn't a push off. The dude should tried to make the play instead of relying on the ref to bail him out.White was the more physical player.
quantomt
I like how he fell to the ground like a Deck of cards, and then instead of trying to chase White down, stopped to complain.

Gritzblitz 2.0
Maybe....but he didn't extend his arms and that's usually the only way offensive PI gets called.

Roddy just took advantage of a off balanced defender and finished the play.
KRUNKuno
again, if Roddy pushed off then Michael Jordan pushed off on Byron Russell.

blizzard_falcon
again, if Roddy pushed off then Michael Jordan pushed off on Byron Russell.+1 I thought that kind of contact was allowed within the first five yards?I don't think it was a push-off -- I think Wilson just fell down to draw a flag, honestly. :P

the_sheff
He def. did push the defenders shoulder pads down as he was turning to cover Roddy. It didnt get called so who cares.
FalconsFanSC
no push off - played physical, yes.Solid veteran route running.
AF89
I'd say he pushed off but the defensive player initiated contact first, well past the 5 yards.Should've been illegal contact.
pzummo
Yes, without question Roddy pushed off, but the defender put his hand into him before he did. DB's are not supposed to put their hands on WR's after 5 yards. Roddy pushed the defender's arm off, which is why the defender turned and fell down. He shouldn't have tried to impede Roddy's route. A flag should have been thrown on the defender. Herm Edwards has the call right. If anything, it was an illegal chuck by the defender. MilleniumFalcon
I didn't see his arm extend he just had his hand on him, so it's not a push off.

DemDirtyBirds4
Didnt extend his arms, CB flopped big time and the ref wasnt buying it.
SaintsWrath
It doesn't matter, Ravens put themselves in a position where a call could have decided the game, not good in another team's home.. There were so many bad calls and non-calls in this game that one call didn't even matter anymore.

slamee101
No, there's fighting for position...and PI. You can't initiate contact then fall to the ground like Mr. Glass and start looking for a call. Man up! I said before it would have been a crime had a flag been thrown there and I'd say the same if the roles were reversed.

There were so many bad calls and non-calls in this game that one call didn't even matter anymore.Even if they called it against the Falcons, we still would have been able to kick a field goal. We were only down by one and we were in range at that point. Bryant had kicked a 51 yarder earlier.Plus, it was first down with 27 seconds left and one timeout. Plenty of time left. The game didn't hinge on that one play.
SaintsWrath
Now you know how we feel after watching the saints in 09. But not just one game like a whole seasonGood teams win the bad officiating battles, bad teams let em cost them the games. Saints were the better team last year.. But Saints DOMINATED most of the games last year we didn't have all the close calls that came down to a bad call, we separated ourselves on the scoreboard too far for other teams to play catch up.. go back and watch, Saints were the dominate force and we controlled the game whether officials called a bad call or not.. I say maybe 2 games came down to a bad call and in those games Saints were getting an even spread of the calls, i've watched the Saints 09 Season 11 times now so i can go play by play with you in almost every game. harveybirdman
personally I saw a DB getting OWNED by the best WR in the NFL. and then FLOPPING to try to call a PRO BOWL WR making a GREAT play PI to disguise the fact he just got straight up OWNED! The game didn't hinge on that one play.it would have been a passing inteference on us and a 10yd penalty...that might push it out to a long field goal in the 50's or so...i thinkI don't know if Bryant can keep making 50+ yards filed goals all the time.
