Africanfalconsfan
We get no respect from the media despite of our record (6-2), they say we haven't beaten good teams and blah blah blah.... Well this week we're playing the #1 ranked team in the league, I wish it wasn't on a short weak, but we have a chance to show the rest of the league what we're made of. A win over the ravens would establish us as superbowl contenders, and any (analyst) who doubts us after that can be ignored because he's clearly a HATER!!! Africanfalconsfan
We are contenders win or lose. BUT a win would make us contenders in the eyes of the national media, because we're not a flashy team we just go about our business and keep getting Ws. But this game is on primetime, and against a team that is seen by the media as a superbowl contender, so if we win this game there's no way they can say we're not contenders. Grover
Does it really matter what te media thinks of the Falcons? Do they win more if they get media hype? f&^% the media and nay sayers. Support the team and kick a22 under the radar.
Africanfalconsfan
I support the falcons no matter what, and NO we don't need the respect from the media. BUT I enjoy watching ESPN a lot more when there's plenty of falcons talk and when good things are said about them :P I know that every other fan on this board enjoys reading a good article that talks good and recognizes the talent of our team and players, instead of a "cowboys are imploding" or "vikings coaching troubles". It annoys me that teams with losing records get more TV time, then us who are on top of the NFC. -_-
