ChrisfromLouisiana
He's just being overly exuberant about his team...nothing wrong with that...that game should be a tough hard-fought contest just like most Saints/Falcons games are.... ChrisfromLouisiana
Chris, Did you read this part? I don't remember any facon team laying the smack down on the Saints. Do you?I read it...apparently he is thinking that they will "lay the smack down" on the Saints this time...which given the history of the rivalry I suppose it depends on what your definition of smack-laying is...but given that the game in week 3 was an OT nail-biter, I agree that the choice of the word "again" was misplaced... ChrisfromLouisiana
Of course, some fans of every team will say things like that, especially in regard to their arch-rivals...

joe horn
Have you even been to the GA Dome?I have. Wee took it over last year. It was awesome, the Rebirth brass band started up a second-line that went from the dome to Atlanta Underground as soon as we hit the parking lot. One of the best postgame experiences I've had as a fan

nolafan33
Have you even been to the GA Dome? The better question would be, have you?I hear (and see) many Falcon fans wouldn't want to venture to that place...
nolafan33
Yeah, that's why Ice is 17-1 in his house? No, that would be because he has only played a few quaity opponents...
nolafan33
Yeah, all 17 teams sucked... No, just like 15...16 or so.Lets take a look:Detroit- 0-16Kansas City- 2-14Chicago- 9-7Saints- 8-8Denver- 8-8Carolina- 12-4Tampa- 9-7 (meltdown?)St. Louis- 2-14Miami- 7-9Carolina- 8-8Tampa- 7-9Washington- 4-12Tampa- 3-13Buffalo- 6-10Arizona- 3-5San Fran- 2-6Cincy- 2-6Tampa- 5-3So by the math, of the 18 games at home, only four have came against teams with winning records. Two of those games are against the Bucs, one being when they started their late season meltdown, and then this season when they're clearly not a great team. So 2 out of 18 against quality (average...above average?) opponents? Color me VERY unimpressed...

SaintRay
Let's put the shoe on the other foot nola. Is Breesus 17-1 at home out of his last 18? No, but he has the ultimate prize, plus an MVP prize. Think he'd wanna trade with "Ice"?
SaintK
No, but he has the ultimate prize, plus an MVP prize. Think he'd wanna trade with "Ice"?Maybe. He may want those b2b winning seasons instead of TWO division titles, 1 NFC title and 1 sb title.
