Falconcheff
What is the difference between that hit Polamalu put on TO and the one Dunta laid on Desean?? No flag; we'll see if there's a fine; nothing said by the announcers about it.But because TO is a man going over the middle and not some twig, he popped right up, and the hit by Polamalu is no problem. Xaju11
But because TO is a man going over the middle and not some twig, he popped right up, and the hit by Polamalu is no problem.i didnt see that play ur talking about, but ur probably rightwhile i think the league does actually look at the hit, sometimes i think the result of the hit is what gets people in trouble...although the eagle player wasnt fined for (cleanly) hitting austin collie on sunday, despite him being taken off on a stretcherthis is all non sense anyway, just let em play

I'd be quicker to compare the D-Rob hit to the one on Austin Collie yesterday than to the hit Troy laid on T.O. tonight -- that was a pure, clean good hit that should never, ever draw a flag or fine. Falconcheff
Bump for more discussion.Did anyone else watch MNF and think the same thing?
WCFalcon
Troy clearly lead in with his shoulder. I think if TO didn't get up then they probably would have fined Polomalu :P But, it was a clean hit Polomalu.
