ATLANTA -- Atlanta Falcons receiver Roddy White says X-rays were negative on his right knee and that a brace he wore in the second half Sunday caused no problems.

White, who began the game with an NFL-best 54 catches, was injured in the first quarter and returned briefly in the second before leaving the field again and walking to the locker room.

He returned in the second half and finished Atlanta's 27-21 victory over Tampa Bay with 49 yards receiving on four catches.

"I went out there and didn't feel much pain," White said, "so I kept going."

White was injured on an 11-yard reception in which linebacker Quincy Black hit him high on the left side.

"I came down kind of funny," White said. "The guy landed on me, and I kind of just felt it a little bit. It didn't feel quite right."

White, whose 747 yards receiving before the game ranked second in the league, was one of the last players to emerge from the tunnel for the second half. He tested his knee on the sideline and trotted back out for Atlanta's first possession.

Center Todd McClure also returned to the game after leaving late in the first half with a knee injury. McClure, the longest tenured Falcon at 12 years, has made a franchise-record 136 consecutive starts.
