KSFALCON
Everyone seems to have lost faith in Baker. When we drafted Johnson he was listed as a G/T, Dimtroff even mentioned his versatility, would you want to see him as our T?
Mr Pickle1
He could in a pinch, but Baker was the much better college tackle. I doubt that Johnson could outplay him now. Will Svitek played well last year. Would not mind seeing him again.

KSFALCON
Coach Smith said He wasnt healthy at the beginning of the year but he is healthy nowIf Turner has a good rest of the year and more games like against TB, Baker will be our starter
gritzblitz
A little off topic but close. I wonder how many or if any of our back-ups are in the long term plans for starting positions. I honestly thought that Reynolds was ready to start getting playing time but at this point he can not unseat Dahl or Clabo.I ask because if we have lost confidence in Baker, with McClure's age & Dahl/Clabo abilities in question....just how many O lineman do we need in this upcoming draft...and what positions? Or are we OK. We are running the ball well, Matty Ice is throwing well. I saw on the NFL stats page that our O-Line was considered 6th best in the NFL....passing offense rated as 11th best, rushing as 6th best, pass defense was rated 26 & Sacks 20th in the league....as references. Would live to know what TD and MS really think about O lineman. Makes it very difficult to do a mock draft if you don't know if trying to replace LT or RT or replace any verses many. Is our O line that bad? Not sure. If we get a LT in draft, the good ones go quickly and in FA can be very expensive. As far as back-ups I think M Johnson, Reynolds and Hawley have potential but then again I'm not at practice so i'm not sure about their long term prognosis. One thing that will tell us is this year's draft (&/or FA).

KSFALCON
IMO, when healthy our line is one of the best and will continue to beBaker has not lived up to expectations, but he is still developing and TD is not gonna replace him yetBlalock is young, but is solidDahl and Clabo are not stars at their postitions, but are known for being nasty and that works for our Oline and our running gameMcClure is the only one in need of a replacement soon(Hawley or Johnson)...that is if we can resign Blalock, Dahl and Clabo next year
