Some more stats- 4-2 in his last 6 road games, including victories over the Jets and the Saints.

2-2 this year against teams with winning records- including a road victory.

4-0 at home

3900, 26-10, are just below elite numbers for the year. If the O gets a little more efficient, he can hit 4000 and 30 TDs- which are elite numbers.

Would like to have seen at least a couple of first downs and a FG after the onside kick - would have made the rest of the game a lot less tense.

This is a very good QB the falcons have here. There are still a few folks out there who somehow think Vick is coming back here, and they start a disproportionate amount of threads here, but falcons fans are happy with what we've got.

People love Cutler, Favre, and Vick because they have the ability to hit the homerun at any moment. I don't know how fans can even stomach their play. I don't want to be constantly on edge, waiting for the gunslinger to throw the dumb picks. I'd rather have my QB be consistent and careful with the ball, and maybe take a few shots from time to time.

Good post. Im sick of the Vick fans still trolling here and claiming Vick is so much better.

I'm going to hurt your feelings here but what I'm going to tell you is simply the truth.

Vick has a better resume than Ryan as of today. (post-season being the differentiator)

Vick is having a better season (according to passer rating that people love so much) as of today.

These are both facts. Can they change? Absolutely. However, today, that's the situation.

If you want to talk about upside that's a totally different story. One that Ryan wins by a landslide by virtue of age and the fact that Vick can't possibly maintain his playing style for too much longer, especially since he'll likely land with some bottom feeder next season.

Would you get worked up if someone started a thread comparing Ryan and Brady? or Ryan and Manning? Probably not.

The sooner people can get over what happened three years ago and just talk about the guy like you'd talk about any other QB the sooner the threads will go away. They're started because it gets people worked up. As soon as you stop getting worked up about it, no more threads.

This went from being a good thread about Ryan's recent play to Vick haters hating on Vick. This is the problem with this message board. Some posters are fans of the player, and not the team. If your not a fan of the team, then shut up or bounce.

If you want to hate on Vick, go to Anything but logic, Around the league and create a haters thread and go hate there. Just like Roddywhite84 needs to do, don't post your crap on TATF.

I can't wait till the games against New Orleans and Baltimore because so far we haven't played one good team yet. New Orleans was not full strength when we won in their place. It was a lucky win. Tampa Bay was 5-2 yeah, but this win is not like beating a 5-2 Giants team. If we win those games then I'll be convinced this is a good team.

Umm the saints were near at full strength.

They were missing Bush and sharper.... big deal.

We were missing Jenkins too.

You're not hurting my feelings. Those facts would be relevant if Vick was the Atlanta QB. And nobody is suggesting that the Falcons trade for Brady or Manning.

Well this thread is going down hill quick. New rule, no Vick talk from either side. No diehard Ryan is Peyton talk either. Let's just talk about the facts and Ryan's good play.

Surprised no one has brought up Ryan can't win without Roddy. Oh that's right, Roddy was only out for part of the game and obviously not at full strength for most of it. Just wish HD could get some more separation.
