Rodney
This is a few months old, I have not been posting. Last summer, while on vacation in Miami...I met Albert Haynesworth and had a long conversation with him. He told me that he would like to play for Atlanta but Atlanta is wanting to give their young DT (Perry) an opportunity. I was not happy with Atlanta drafting Perry myself...I never thought he would be much of a factor for Atlanta due to his size and being injury prone. How do you think Jerry is doing? Should we attempt to bring Haynesworth to Atlanta next year? I will say this....During my 30 minute plus conversation, Albert was very nice. The man is huge. I know he was doing his work outs while in Miami. He would be huge in the middle of our line. He played his college football in the SEC for Tennessee. Dem Birds
I stopped reading after you called Jerry Perry 2 times negating any chance of it being a typo.

Rodney
Ok...is it AH that you do not like or do you believe that he would not want to play for Atlanta? After meeting him, he seemed ok with me. So, he does not like playing in the 3-4 in Washington....I think he would be good for us. The man is huge and can play. He is much better than any of our DTs. Put him in the middle to play with Abraham and Biermann on the sides....we would have a pretty good D-line....yes, aging but still good. ATLBrave
For the money he makes, **** no. As for him being better than any DT we have..Babs might have a word for you if he saw that.
dvt5045
I live in the DC area and believe me we don't want Albert Haynesworth.

pzummo
Really? You didnt want us to draft Peria Jerry because he was injury prone in college? Peria started every game his last two seasons in college. He missed games in his Freshman and Sophomore years. If you only draft players that never had any injuries, you would end up drafting a bunch of players that play to not get injured. An playing two years without an injury is not considered "injury prone".So what did you think about us drafting William Moore?
dvt5045
The guy is pretty much Randy Moss on Defense. All talent and no heart.
Rodney
I like Babs but I still don't think he is as good as Babs...even so...I would like to see Haynesworth, Abraham, Biermann, and Babineaux as our defensive line....But...yes, I can see the money aspect. But along with that, I also think you have to put some money in the trenches (O-line and D-line)....I am not sure how we compare in that regard to some of the other teams. M0D3RNW4RR10R
Albert Haynesworth would bring more media coverage to the Falcons than a Superbowl ever would. I'm not talking about good media coverage too. Edited November 7, 2010 by M0D3RNW4RR10R
