I am just glad his contract is up because we can be really stubborn about certain players. It is sad this worked out the way it did but you can't keep heading into a new season counting on a talent that gets injured so readily.

I disagree about the kick returns too. He should be able to fill that role and stay healthy.

Right. Norwood was feared at KR for a minute. As Falcon fans we can't keep making up excuses for this guy. For this Falcons team sake, the Falcons have to move on. -_-

I think the Norwood decision has already been made. They signed him to tenders this year, They haven't given him an extension, He's gonna be gone come free agency. As much as I like the guy, he can't stay healthy long enough for the team to reap the rewards of signig him to a new deal. Let him go, fun while it lasted, hope he has better luck in the future...

Let me play devil's advocate. Norwood knows our system, is a good blocker, and is a threat to break a big play at any time. If we had not been using him as KR, his injury history would be much better. The majority of his injuries were incurred on KR, including the concussion and hip issues that seem to have plagued him the most.

I think you are wrong about the concussion, he got that from a dirty forearm to the head in a preaseason game against the Chargers. Oh, and Antonio Cromartie is a dirtbag.

I don't think anybody can deny Norwood's big play potential, but he's never on the field, so what good does it do us? Also, the hip injuries and know a blown knee means that his speed and agility are most likely not going to be what they used to anyhow. Time to cut the dead weight and move on.
