nolafan33
Reggie Bush, Jabari Greer, and Tracy Porter all practiced today. Last week we got Scott Shanle back, and the week before Darren Sharper. Hopefully none of these guys have any setbacks. In other news, Pierre Thomas still hasn't practiced and there was a report out that he was almost traded to New England before the trade deadline. I have to say, his season, and career as a Saint, is starting to look slim. What is yalls opinion on this whole thing?

I have to say, his season, and career as a Saint, is starting to look slim. What is yalls opinion on this whole thing?I think its possible he was misdiagnosed as speculated. If so, either his rehab or the true nature of the injury has kept him out much longer than just an ankle sprain. I think the "almost" trade reveals the Saints are willing to rely on the other backs going forward next season. Doesn't mean they won't get a deal hammered out though, but only on the Saints' terms. Laugher
We will see how tough your team is when the Ravens come to town next Thursday, you won't be playing the Cardinals and Browns in the playoffs. Point being look at 08 when you beat soft teams and got spanked in the Playoffs. It is already showing, you loss to Pitt (with Dixon at the helm), and got raped by the Eagles. You beat one team Playoff worthy.
bradael
We're only at the midway point of the season. I wouldn't get too excited about the team getting healthy. There are likely to be some key injuries on the back 8 games as well. But at least the team has a bye after this week. The Saints got healthy at the right time last year with pretty much everyone returning for the playoffs. Part of that had to do with sitting a bunch of players the last three weeks, especially week 17, and of course having a bye in the playoffs. It doesn't look like the Saints will have the luxury of sitting everyone the last game or two this year.

Who Dat 4 Life!
Question were the World Champion Saints healthy when the Falcons played them in week 3? Week 3? The falcons have won the Championship for the first half of the season. That accomplishment is far greater than beating the poor saints in week 3! Falconsken
I love it i really do... I mean the saints fans really really act like the week 3 loss didnt hurt at all. I mean the falcons roll up in the Superdome to face the super bowl champs and beat them. No it's not like a superbowl but i get alot of pleasure when you blow it off like it didnt hurt. Many of you weren't around for weeks at a time. The division rival beats your after your Cinderella season in your own home... You cant script that stuff. oh wait yes you can the entire 09 season. haha. Seriously We lost to pitt by a touch down. Dont get cocky about that we also smoked the cardinals and beat the browns... Btw We might have lost to the steelers with dixon at the helm but You got beat by Arizona With Max hall at the helm. I cant remember who max hall is remind me? oh wait noone knows. The browns with colt mccoy at the helm. And the division rivals.

DD: Objective Elite
Week 3? The falcons have won the Championship for the first half of the season. That accomplishment is far greater than beating the poor saints in week 3!My gawd, you D-bags are killin me. Why must you throw that win bank in our faces? Had the Saints won that game, EVERY single one of you Saints fans would remind us about it in every other thread. Heck, most of you would have it in your sig. Yet, if a Falcon fan mentions the win it's, "That was your Superbowl" "Atlanta is the September Champion" Blah blah blahWe won the game, move on.
