Billy Ocean
Hold on, we can't talk managers without mentioning Jimmy Hart. Dude was obnoxious as he77!!!I never liked the cut of Jimmy Hart's jib. Nor the Honky Tonk Man's for that matter. I am partial to "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase. The racist undertones of his relationship with Virgil made me a little uncomfortable though.
CrimsonKat
I can dig it. The Hitman was sporting pink long before it became fashionable with preppy frat boys.GDI personally but it didn't get any cooler than the Hitman.
capologist
Interesting. You don't care about what our coaches do on the sidelines? Yet this thread is now 7 pages long. Everything that transpired during the game should stay out there on the field, especially something as silly as this incident. UF guys should read up on what Mr. Henry has to say about this incident and calm down already.Yep, I don't care and if you look through each and every page you'll find that I posted once on page 2 saying that I didn't care up until our conversation. I think Chas is exactly right in his opinion and that way too much is being made about it...
SacFalcFan
The greatest tag team of all time manTHE BUSHWACKERSI loved those guys when I was a kid.they are great, but my favorite tag team were the Steiner Brothers. Part of that was I spent some time with them when they were training with Ole Anderson. It was great to get to talk with all 3 of those and see how they trained for matches. ChuyDawg
Scott Steiner's training method = Inject 3 times dailyYou're not lying. I remember watchig him in the WWF when I was in Elementary school. Years later when I was in High School he was in the WCW and I could barely recognize the guy. Just an amazing transformation. My best friends mother was dating this guy who was the stage manager for WCW and we'd get to meet all of the WCW guys. We'd also get front row tickets to all of the shows here in Atlanta and in Augusta, we'd act like fools to get on the camera. If you watched WCW back in the day you would have seen us for sure. Scott Steiner was one of our favorites and overall they were all real good with the fans backstage.
Threepac Daddy
speaking of the steiner bros, ive meet rick when i was in high school when he came to talk to the fca. nice dude talked to him for about 10-20 mins and basically skipped first period(weight lifting ftw) and went to the field house, where they had some video game tourny. Billy Ocean
The Steiner Brothers seem kinda like they went in different directions. Rick was/is involved in the Cherokee County school district, and I believed his candidacy for a board seat was disqualified because he ran using his wrestling name, not his real name. Meanwhile Scott committed aggravated assault on a DOT worker in Cherokee County because he was inconvenienced by some construction work. Carter
Was anyone else as entertained by the antics of Konnan and Rey Mysterio Jr as I was? I could easily see how they might be annoying to folks, but I always found it fun to watch. I always liked The Horsemen and Road Warriors, too.I used to love watching WCW... always enjoyed it a lot more than WWF back in the day. I really haven't watched wrestling at all since WCW died and ECW began going downhill before merging with WWF.Also used to love Sabu and Rob Van Dam in ECW... their matches against each other and as a tag team were all classic ECW. That promotion started going down the toilet when they made Taz their big star and eventually merged with WWF some years later.
Billy Ocean
Yeah I haven't really watched wrestling since my sophomore year at UGA. Freshman year we all looked forward to Monday night. At the beginning of freshman year in '98 all my friends were all about Nitro but I won them over to the WWF by Spring semester with the help of Stone Cold and The Rock. The WWF just had better story lines and production value.I first got into the WWF as a little kid in the mid-80s. By the late 80s I moved more towards NWA/WCW. I used to order the PPVs and rent VHS tapes of PPVs every Friday after school. Then I didn't really follow wrestling until the Monday Night Wars heated up, and I watched religiously from about '96 - '00. By 2000 or 2001 I gave up wrestling for good, I guess. Now the biggest star in wrestling wears jorts...

Billy Ocean
In retrospect it's kinda awkward how wrestling unabashedly propagated stereotypes of minorities. But on the plus side it did aid in cultural awareness, too. Like RZA from Wu-Tang once said, "I never knew what a Samoan was until I watched wrestling." Billy Ocean
David Ching stole my intellectual property:… This is Georgia-Florida, a series where the Bulldogs have now lost 18 of the last 21 meetings. If Georgia is ever going to turn things back in its favor, it needs coaches like Grantham lighting a fire under a Bulldogs team that too often seems like it’s playing in quicksand in Jacksonville. If that means the rivalry occasionally slips into over-the-top professional wrestling antics, all the better. They’re not supposed to play nice.http://dogbytesonline.com/ching-fans-should-applaud-grantham-23408/
