ATLBrave
Fine by me if you want to defend him. I would expect nothing less. List of those who Georgia has had to defend in 2010:1) Todd Grantham (Choke-Gate)2) Mark Richt (Another disappointing season with discipline issues off-the-field)3) A.J. Green (regarding his suspension by the NCAA)4) Aaron Murray (regarding his play in the Cocktail Party)5) Arrested Players (Athens police is picking on them)List of those who Georgia has elected not to defend in 2010:1) Marcus Lattimore (South Carolina)2) Greg Childs (Arkansas)3) Chris Relf (Mississippi State)4) Rodney Stewart (Colorado)5) Trey Burton (Florida)Really? Aaron Murray and his play in the Florida game? I don't see a ******** person "defending" him for his bad play, just saying that he had his freshman moment at the wrong time (which, unless you are just extremely ignorant, is what happened). As for the other four, 2 of them are just laughable, especially calling what Grantham did "Choke-Gate". Seriously? I'd go worry about your own glass house before you start labeling things with a moniker like that.

capologist
*** For what it’s worth, the Gators’ Henry laughed off the incident, telling the Palm Beach Post, “I think it’s ridiculous what people are trying to say, that he should have to apologize for it or be fined or anything. … It’s just an intense game.” Henry said that he blew Grantham a kiss in response. “I see that they’d taken a timeout and I looked over at their coach and I started laughing, like, ‘You’re going to ice me? I’m not even the kicker. You’re going to ice me?’” Henry told the Post’s Jason Lieser. “So I start looking and I see the guy doing the choke. I look at him again and he does like, ‘You’re gonna choke.’ So I take my helmet off and I gave him a little smooch at him. I blew him a little kiss. That might be why he got a little upset about that.”***An interesting response from Mr. Henry. It seems that Mr. Henry may have provoked the whole thing.Awesome move Chas! And at you trying to spin it as Henry provoked it. Uh no, a response is not provoking anything. Grantham did his thing and Henry RESPONDED. But I know, I know, UGA can't possibly do anything wrong around here...

Do you know how to read or maybe you have a problem comprehending? Look at the first sentence in his quote. It's not a big deal to me but no "laughing" is not provoking anything, let's get real. Now if he had gone over to Shrek's face (yes, Grantham reminds me of Shrek) and laughed then you have a case. Of course, if you really want to take it to that extreme then what really "provoked" it all was Richt calling timeout to ice a punter kicking a field goal now wouldn't it? You don't care about what our coaches do on the sidelines? Yet this thread is now 7 pages long. Everything that transpired during the game should stay out there on the field, especially something as silly as this incident. UF guys should read up on what Mr. Henry has to say about this incident and calm down already.
Carter
OMG..... people are actually calling this Choke-gate?!Wow... just.... wow. We must be running out of important things to worry about in the world. Dear Lord, a coach wants a player on the other team to know that he wants him to fail. Some folks need surgery to have the stick removed. Seriously. This is a non-issue and people are labeling it "choke-gate"...

Isosceles
It's funny to us to hear an Alabama fan even attempt to lecture us about anything regarding sportsmanship, fairplay, etc, etc, etc.... it's comical really because there are ZERO grounds to stand on from your end.oh ransack, what a desperate statement. but I think all this fighting amongst us has now become very trivial and unimportant. Time to move on and leave this funny little incident behind.J

I'm setting the over/under at 11.I feel like I have contributed to about 3 pages alone. But I am getting tired. Need someone else to move the cause forward at this point. I really need to be devoting my attention to more pressing matters like helping the Chattanooga Mocs pull off the upset of the century over Auburn. Yeah if this were tag-team wrestling now would be the point in the match where you crawl over to your corner in exhaustion and slap your partners outstretched hand. CrimsonKat
Yeah if this were tag-team wrestling now would be the point in the match where you crawl over to your corner in exhaustion and slap your partners outstretched hand.Agreed. The only question is whether the opponent grabs me right before the tag can be made and pulls me back in for more punishment or whether I can lunge at the last second to tag in the other guy, who inevitably would come into the ring connecting on a few haymakers before drop-kicking the opposition's partner as he tries to run in the ring for the double-team. So as a kid who grew up on mid-80s NWA and who as a UGA undergrad looked forward each week to the late-90s Monday Nitro/Raw war, I gotta ask: in your mind, what tag team do you see yourself being a part of? I think your answer says a lot about you as a person.

Billy Ocean
The greatest tag team of all time manTHE BUSHWACKERSI loved those guys when I was a kid.Yeah, if you were a kid growing up in the Deep South in the 80s and 90s, you had to be influenced by wrestling. While maybe not sticking to the tightest parameters of what constitutes a tag team, I would have to say that it’d be the Four Horsemen for me. And I’m referring to the OG Horsemen - 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair,' 'The Enforcer' Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson and Tully Blanchard. Arn Anderson and one other Horseman usually made up their tag team. I really liked the way they carried themselves – in and out of the ring. Plus I often cheer for the bad guys in movies and my love of the Horsemen fits in with that.I repect your pick, Chuy, but I think some of our unnamed SEC fanbase brethren remind me more of these 2 classic tag teams:
ChuyDawg
I grew up with wrestling in the mid 90s, and my favorite tag team when I was a kid were The Rockers with Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannety. Then as I got older:The Rockers were one of my favorites. I still remember when Shawn went all evil and gave Marty that chin music kick. I was so mad at Shawn Michaels for breaking up The Rockers, I still don't like him 'til this day. Man, those were the days when you'd wake up Saturday mornings and go to your TV set with a bowl of cereal and watch the WWF Saturday morning and on Sunday as well.
