Billy Ocean
Well this is surprising news. I had assumed we wouldn't be 3:30PM on CBS again until next year. http://dawg-extra.blogspot.com/2010/11/auburn-game-at-330-on-cbs.html
Falconsfan567
Yeah a surprise. I'm shocked they didn't pick Mississippi State/Alabama for that weekend or South Carolina/Florida.

Threepac Daddy
i fig that they would have gone with florida vs usc, since the sec east division will be on the line

slamee101
They're gonna want to showcase a team that has the Heisman favorite & a chance to win the BCS. Had Georgia got stomped this weekend maybe you'd have seen USC & UF.
ChuyDawg
I just heard the news and I don't like it one bit. The last thing we need this season is Auburn putting up 50+ on national TV. You have to be honest guys, that could possibly happen. The boys will have to come out and play their azzes off. Not good at all. I don't like it. SacFalcFan
ChuyDawg, I disagree. I love it. We may lose, but i hate night road games.
ChuyDawg
I hear you Sac. I'm the kind of guy who is optomistic about our boys but this game really concerns me. The fact that its on national TV makes it worst IMO. Cam Newton will try to seal his Heisman candidacy and you know the Auburn boys are sick of the string of losing games to us. Our D has proven that it still cannot figure out a way to stop a scrambling QB and we're still giving up big plays. I will root on the Dawgs but this game really CONCERNS me. Billy Ocean
We should carry an outhouse and soil their sideline like they did to ours last year.

The crowd is going to be noisy even at 3:30, it would be 100x worse at 7pm.

I feel a little better about the Auburn game than I did Florida, depending on whether Aaron can tone his nerves down and keep his throws lower. Mr. Hoopah!
I would have preferred a night game, but oh well.Yes, I made my flame post last saturday, but I'm looking forward to playing UGA. Yall have owned us for four years and I'm ready to turn that around. I fully expect AJ to have a couple of touchdown catches, but after 60 minutes I think we will outlast you. 60 minutes of Newton, Dyer and even McCaleb has proven too much for our previous opponents, and it will be a tough matchup for yall. Good luck Bulldawgs.

As I recall, it took more than 60 minutes against Clemson. Several other Auburn games have gone down to the wire and Georgia has lost several close games on late turnovers. This will be a tough matchup for yall, too.
Carter
I'm really loving that CBS picked up this game. I believe that they usually do, so it's nice to see them carry on with it. It's a very emotional and heated rivalry as well. South Carolina at Florida is the one I figured they would pick up since it will more than likely determine the winner of the East, but Georgia at Auburn is no less important imo. Auburn is in the driver's seat for a national title bid and they have to get through Georgia and Alabama to do it. I don't think the perception going into the game is that Auburn is guaranteed to win it, but I suppose I could be wrong. UGA/Auburn always have tough tough games as well. That goes both ways. Their defense is not very good. I feel a little better about the Auburn game than I did Florida, depending on whether Aaron can tone his nerves down and keep his throws lower.I think Murray was jacked up against Florida because it was his first game as a college starter in his home state. At least that's what Murray admitted himself. Seems pretty understandable. I don't think we'll see Murray play that way again.
Lennon
We need a signature win, and I for some reason have this odd confidence that we will beat Auburn.. I have no idea why.. Maybe '06 brings back memories of a down and out Georgia team that laid it on an Auburn team that was #5 or 6 at the time (I forget) ,given, this is not nearly the same Auburn or Georgia team, but I just have an odd feeling that we go out by beating Auburn and Tech.. Then again, I thought we'd beat Florida as well, but we're overdue to beat a good team, look out Auburn.

I don't feel confident that we will beat them, but I do feel very confident that we'll play them very hard and it will be a very competitive game.Cam Newton presents the same challenge that Tebow did and I think Auburn has a better stable of RBs than Florida ever did with Tebow. Plus Auburn's o-line is playing out of their mind at this point. Our defense is going to have to play a great game all around. Auburn's defense is somewhat suspect, but they've shown the ability to crack down when they need to... so I really hope to see great effort on both sides of the ball from the Dawgs. We'll have to put our A-game out there to beat Auburn.

tjb
This game scares me. I've not been overly impressed with their D, so I think we will be able to score some points.I just don't think we're gonig to be able to score enough to keep up with them. We've had a terrible time with mobile QB's. And their OL has played great, so I don't know how much pressure we'll be able to get. And if he has time, he'll pick our secondary apart all day.I think we can win, but we will have to force some turnovers, and not turn the ball over ourselves. Our best defense will be to keep our offense on the field. The other thing that I don't like about this game, is that it just seems to be AU's year. I'm not taking anything away from their season, but almost all of their wins have come down to the last series or at least late in the 4th qtr, and they've caught a huge break, whether it be a fumble recovery, interception, etc... Us on the other hand, are on the opposite side of the fence, and we seem to be throwing the int or fumbling. Just think it's one of those years, where the ball just doesn't bounce our way. Here's to hoping they're overlooking us...
