Nicolae
Supposedly he didn't go to class and got into it with UM about it.Yeah, as far as the credible things I have heard from credible people this seems to be the reason. Not even that he didn't, but that he wouldn't go to class. He just expected that college was going to just like high school for him, but Urban can understandably only bend so far without likely creating his own personal Jan Kemp. Apparently his dad even moved to Gainesville to help out with the problem and it didn't even do the trick. Sounds like he is just a monumentally lazy and entitled young man. Des-pool
If he got into it with UM about it, that would be it. The only way a guy like UM throws anyone off the team with that much talent is for challenging his authority/ego. Florida does seem to like their coaches short and with Napoleonic complexes. Threepac Daddy
Can we just pin a thread at the top of the page where people can just go in and **** all over Florida's coaches, Florida's players, Florida's academic programs, Florida's teachers, and the actual architecture of the university buildings? That way everyone who lets the Florida Gator program occupy their domes on a minute-to-minute basis can go in and pound their keyboards in utter frustration. I would encourage everyone use all caps to really get the rage going.or change this forum to the go dawgs and **** florida forum. some people act like uga is god and can do no wrong and florida is the devil and kills babies. Mr Pickle1
lol, I've probably used that a million times since I've been posting on these forums. If all you ever did was sit in this forum and read the comments here, you would think that the University of Florida is Nazi Germany during the Holocaust. There isn't a forum on the internet that is a better example of letting something dominate your every thought. We are horrible fans, the coaches are horrible people, the students are murderers, pedophiles, rapists, and republicans, and the entire city of Gainesville should be wiped off the map.Honestly, this is a case of: If the shoe fits...There has been some might questionable stuff going down in Florida. Mr Pickle1
Oh horse ****. More a case of "well, if you don the red and black glasses, squint and type something really biased"...I definitely don't think I have red and black glasses. Anti UF glasses, maybe. Lol.Look, UF players have committed a bevy of crimes with a great moral repugnance attached to them than alcohol/scooter/license related crimes. Meyer has sometimes punished them at a level lower than I know CMR would. That's bad enough, and would irk me. But when you have a coach and program which attempts to masqeurade as some sort of bastion of morality, who criticize the FAR LESS offensive actions of other programs and individuals, the rank hypocrisy is enough to choke Nancy Pelosi. ChuyDawg
I personally hate threads like these. We're talking about a young man who gets thrown out off a team due to academics and attitude. I hope this could have been handled a little differently. The kid obvioiusly has the talent but no direction in dealing with his responsibilities. I think Urban may have given up on this kid a little pre-maturely. This is a kid's future we're talking about. We should care just as much about the future and direction of the players representing our school and not just how they perform on Saturdays.Part of the reason why I like CMR is because he has proven to be genuine when it comes to our players. CMR goes out of his way to help the troubled kids as much as possible to make sure they're given every opportunity to straighten themselves out. CMR also makes sure the players that get thrown off the team land somewhere else. There's plenty of examples of this; Montez Robinson, Dontavious Jackson, Demetre Baker. CMR has proven to show he cares about our boys, I can proudly say that our coach takes care of our boys.

This wasn't a first occurrence type deal...
