hawkeye
Game I've got circled on my calendarAtlanta at Seattle, Dec. 19: In a mediocre NFC, the Falcons and Seahawks are early favorites to win division titles. Atlanta sits atop the NFC South with a 5-2 mark, and Seattle atop the NFC West at 4-2. There's so little competition out West that Seattle has a soft enough schedule to be a candidate for a first-round bye. Atlanta has been the most consistent team in the NFC thus far. This game could conceivably be for the NFC's top seed.http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/football/nfl/stories/102710dnspoinsidenfl.1c4836f.html

muskokas finest ©
Tough spot for us that week, as the trip out west will be our third straight road game.
Da_Truth
Atlanta has been the most consistent team in the NFC thus far. We all know this is NOT true. This has always been Smitty's mantra with this young team...they're not consistent enough. They've gotten better, but for some reason they have lapses and revert to playing undisciplined football at time.

Trips to Tampa and Panty-Land are easy trips to make.

And a late December game at Qwest Field has 'miserable weather day' written all over it.
Finally
The seahawks definitely have my attention right now. They have a very favorable schedule. I hope it does not come down to that game because facing them after 2 division opponents on the road is not favorable for us at all.
deja entendu
I think this could definately be a trap game for us, as i think we will have won most of our games in the run in and the seahawks at home just beat you and you dont know how plus im going to be watching this game with a seattle fan whose only just started watching nfl, and to think i told him seattle were no hopers going into this year. WineBird
The 49ers, they have consistently found a way to snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory.Hah, +1 for you sir.
slamee101
I don't think that Seattle is all that good but they're tough at home and they've gutted out wins. I know they beat Chicago on the road but...the Bears look horrible right now.I'll have to wait and see what happens to them over the next few weeks before I'm convinced they're playing for a bye. I still think teams like Philly & NY will be in it...not to mention GB and N.O. (as much as it pains me to say it) when they get healthy. I see it as a game that could be a tough win at least as it is right now.

Pacific_Falcon
I will be in the 8th row for that game with my best friend, a die hard hawks fan. Should be interesting, Trufant is an underrated CB (went to college with him) and Seattle is tough against the run.

I hope we come off the bye playing defense the way we did in our earlier games.

Spoon and Moore on the field at the same time should really give our defense an aggressive edge.
