Falc_Fan_Since_Six
If the pass falls incomplete, you're the first ones screaming "why didn't we run for the first down?!!" I mean I'm happy we took the shot too and I'm not trying to be critical but it's just human nature. When it works were happy but let it not work a few times and see what kind of an uproar you'd get on this board. Edited October 25, 2010 by FalcFanSinceSix!! Joremarid
lol you talk as if smitty wasn't going to go for it on 4th down.
theDIRTYcode
I honestly said that to myself after the play. Then I realized we have a bad azz for a HC that would have went for it on 4th down. It was a refreshing play call, even if it falls incomplete. Did we ever determine if this was a Mularkey call or a Ryan adjustment?

Said that they hadn't thrown out of that formation all year, and Ryan made the call.
coupey
like jori said, even had we not converted, you know smitty is going for it on 4th down.SVP had a great comment a few weeks ago on his show, he said "mike smith treats 4th downs like i do in madden"so true, too. Did we ever determine if this was a Mularkey call or a Ryan adjustment?I was at the game and everyone in my section felt the same way. If we had not completed the long pass on 3rd, we would have went for it on 4th.
Norwood all the way!
i would have been happy regardless of the outcome. at least passing it deep makes the defense realize that we could go back to it. ive been wanting to at least attempt some deep throws
