I don't know which is better, being 5-2 or watching N.O. return to being the "aints"

How pathetic, getting beat pretty soundly by one of the worst teams in the league.

At least when the Falcons got their butts kicked by the Eagles, it was a loss to a good team. I love being 5-2 but I love watching the saints become the aints again even more.

Funny when all the sympathy stops and the NFL no longer feels compelled to give N.O. gift wins like they did in the playoffs against Minnesota last year how positively ordinary Brees and Co. have become. Can you say "fluke" ?

I'm taking up a collection of brown paper bags to send down to the drunken Stupordome. You guys are gonna need them! :D:D

What's even more gratifying is not getting a response from the collection of tools who hang out here in RC and call themselves saints fans. Ummm excuse me, they are back to being aints fans. That means that they are either not here, which would be wonderful if they never showed themselves here again, or they're too busy cutting eye and mouth holes in brown paper bags to respond.

This place and TATF once suffered a horrible infestation of panties fans and they have scattered like someone turned on the lights and now hopefully the same will happen with aints fans. What is it they call that ridiculous thing they wear on their helmets? A Fleur de lis? Let's officially rename it a Fluke de lis! :P :D

i could care less about what the Saints look like.....

all i know is we look Pretty Dam Good, and are 5-2 and Control our own destiny to getting not only in the playoffs as the div winner but the #1 Seed in the NFC, and play every Playoff game we have @ Atlanta then go to Dallas and play in the Super Bowl....

we keep doing what we need to do,,,, wont matter what Saints do.....

YOU KNOW .. NOT ONE SAINT RESPONDED TO THIS

THREAD. ARE THEY THAT DEMORALIZED? COME ON SAINTS,

FIGHT TO THE END! I DON'T CARE WHAT WE'RE GOING

THROUGH .... "I WILL NEVER BE SILENCED." NEVER!! :D

We're (Saints fans) still here. We came very close to peaking too early last year and we're attempting to correct that this year. I think most will agree, it's working pretty well so far. The loss at home to the Browns in week 7 is testimony to how serious we are about not peaking too early. Be patient, we're gonna flip he proverbial switch any week now and clean up this mess at the top of the NFC in time for the playoffs.

Like the proverbial switch in the 07' and 08' season you guys promised us about HW? Maybe not you but many saints fans did...

Well, there was some optimism after '06 but realistically, that '06 team, from a talent standpoint, had no business getting to the NFCCG It was a patchwork roster filled with cast offs and rookies in the starting lineups. Some of it had to be torn down so '07 and '08 as it turned out, served as rebuilding years.

2010 is here, and the heavy lifting is done. The only thing left for us is to sit back, relax, and wait for the multiple championships to roll in. ;) I'm sure we're all pretty much in agreement with that right? I think that's how it works in the NFL

Is it really coming down to this for our rivals?

Sure is when all he's got is calling rival fans a "collection of tools." His credibility was out the door in his first attempt at a sentence. That and he suddenly appears in Rivals after being MIA for 10 months. Hindsight is everything, ain't it.

Well, for some, those types of insults are what constitutes the stock in trade of what RC is all about...everyone on here has been guilty of it at one time or another...but aside from that, hopefully the Saints can right the ship soon...although doing so against the Steelers will be a tall order if things don't show a considerable improvement over last week's effort against the Browns...

not that it matters, but the saints are favored by 1...should be a good game, and if the saints can pull it out, that could get your momentum going for another week before your bye

WHEN THE BOOKIES FAVOR YOU BY ONE POINT,

IT MEANS THEY GOT THEIR MONEY ON THE OTHER

SIDE .... just saying.
