Da_Truth
The Falcons are almost becoming like Parrots during each interview with the media. Here are my top rote responses:We just have to execute better. They were a top notch defense. We just need to fix a few things in practice.I accept responsibility for my performance today. We will go back to work and get things fixed. What are yours? This is almost becoming comical. I don't know about you guys but I'm tired of hearing these same ol' responses after a subpar performance. paulitik
Believe me, another loss like the one the other day, and you will start hearing a lot more. The canned responses are a good thing, it means they are happy and we are winning. Hopefully they aren't blind to the offensive playcalling and are dealing with it internally. But if it keeps floundering, we'll be hearing a lot more than we want to. Deep breaths. We're 4-2. We had a bad game on the road against a good team. We'll be okay.Disclaimer: If the Falcons look bad and Mularkey sux Sunday ya'll won't see me for two weeks...........maybe. PHALCONABERNATHY
1 loss to a good team doesnt mean doom and failure for the entire season, the Ravens lost to the Patriots and they were supposed to be Gods this season. Everyone loses sometimes, it grounds you. Personally, I think the O-Line needs to be saying "we're the reason we couldnt score points." They needed a game like this to wake them up. QB that doesn't throw downfield, winless at home, no ability for the Falcons to adjust to things not seen on film, does not suggest Philly is a good team. They are when Vick is at QB. I personally think Atlanta beat themselves and Philly took advantage of it. Hopefully, that was a wakeup call. I can't deal with that type of outing for 2 straight weeks
Da_Truth
What would you rather they say?I guess nothing would be better than hearing the same robotic responses every time they lose. They said they've fixed things before, but they're not fixed. All the other teams covered our weaknesses that are STILL in the secondary. NO receivers dropped passes, there were some overthrown balls in the Cardinals and Cleveland game, Philly has the speed and timing with their receivers and showed us that we could not stop them because that's what a TRUE offense does--keeps the defense guessing. When someone says the same thing over and over you tend to get to the point where you believe NOTHING this team says. After all, action does speak louder than words. If Jackson had not gotten hurt them may have put up 50 on us.
Da_Truth
Our OC is overly conservative an refuses to throw down field.I agree, but more importantly why hasn't Smith made him change? He is the manager of these guys and dictates what they do. Part of the problem is our OL though. They've been very inconsistent and let's face it they can't keep the better DLs off of Matt. They kept us guessing all day...kinda like I wish our OC would do to our opponents?

vabchbirdlover
Our OC is overly conservative an refuses to throw down field. You ever stop and think that the reason we don't throw down field is because our OL is not very good at pass blocking?
