FalconPio
Im just taking the time out to inform those who have not realized the difference between these type of message boarders.I will give an example. You ready? Here we go. After A lossThe Dramatic- "OMG! The season is over! Fire every single person that had something to do with it. We will not win another game. The Realist- They notice specific reasons as to why we may have loss the game. They take a step back and view things that went wrong and what could be corrected. They have constructive criticism & strive for perfection from the team. The Homer- lalala. Don't worry guys. we just loss to a really good team ; You guys act like we have to beat really good teams to make it through the playoffs. its just one loss. Nothing needs changing. We just had a bad game. I love the smell of all kind of flowers and mother nature. Kumbaya people kumbayaI really needed to adress this. Which one are you? hmmmmm... Think about it
sdogg
Good one I think Im a realist, but I do at times lean towards the "sky is falling" when we lose really bad.But I also become a homer when we win really big. Guest Gritz
The DramaticThe Realist The HomerI really needed to adress this. Which one are you? hmmmmm... Think about itI'm all 3 at different times:Before every season starts I'm a Homer.Once the season starts I like to think that I'm a Realist with "Homer leanings."After the team deposits a complete turd of a performance on the field like they did this past Sunday I'm probably overly Dramatic.....wondering how in the world we are ever going to win another game if it isn't played against DeVry Technical College. So, probably I would guess in many ways I'm a typical Falcon fan......

Finally
Being a realist never helped me cope with a loss so I will stay in homer land. I am not a crazy homer though. I feel like I have realistic expectations but I have high hopes every Sunday.
phattywankenobi
I always love these definitions because it defines whether someone is a pessimist or an optimist by how they define a realist. If someone considers themselves anything other than a realist it automatically invalidates their opinion.
Statick
Well, by those definitions its good to see that we're pretty status quo with just about every other NFL fan board.
CraigSmackDaddy
I would like to think I'm a realist with a little homer sprinkled in.

WoTFan
I'm a realist. I don't come to the boards much after a loss because I can't stand the sky is falling threads.I've known all year we've had weaknesses. When we lose, the other team just exposes them. falconidae
Then there are the subsets:The fantasy player latin name: thousanous rapturuosAlways trying to trade players he thinks stinks for pro bowlers. The single issue maniac: Latin name BLowharus blusterous2000 posts and 1990 of them are on one topic, usually QB, sometimes even the QB's arm , but occasionally D linemen as well. numerous varieties are known, almost any topic imaginable has it's own single issue maniac. The pathetic troll, latin name StikusTracius,Can be spotted because he's always miserable when the team he "roots for" wins and is only happy when QBs on other teams do well. Never been a sighting of a female pathetic troll, no one knows how they reproduce, and no one wants to.Too many varieties exist to produce a comprehensive list, although they all seem to be miserable and attempt to drag others down with them. The intelligent Saints fan, latin name Rara AvisRumored to have been spotted in rival central, but has always "just left" when you go to RC. The existence of this creature has never been confirmed. Most likely an urban legend, used to get youngsters off the messageboard at night. FalconFanSince1970
Realist checking in here.Good post. I would only add that there are at least seven sub categories in each of the three types.I'm a realist. I try to stay in the middle and deal with facts only.I fully expected and predicted a beat down in PHI and that's what happened. I am resting comfortably this week and looking forward to CIN.
