Dr_truth189
Does anyone know what time the Trade deadline is tomorrow? And do you think we Should make a play for anyone at all?Lets try and limit the posts about trades to 1 topic. I personally think our WR corps is fine. I mean we have literally everything a team needs. A True #1. Jenks looked pretty solid out there at #2 and he is great at blocking. Harry is a quick dude in the slot hopefully he can run some drags here and there to give matty a dump off if things break down. And of course we have tony g. Between Turner and Snelling we have power backs on lock down. On defense when healthy we look pretty dang solid. I think its safe to say Spoon makes a HUGE impact when he is in the game. Just look at the numbers. Which leaves 2 things. Our O-line and a quick scat back. I think if you want to make a push right here right now you need a true LT. We need Matt to gain the trust in his O-line again and thats hard when he is on pace to get sacked more than his 1st 2 years. Maybe this is why MM won't call a deep pass. Maybe this is why Ryan isn't going through some of his reads that he used to do. I don't believe Ryan has regressed and refuse to do so. But Sadly I think TD is gonna have the mentality of don't panic and just let it play out. So no I don't think we pull the trigger on a trade. dmite
It's actually tomorrow. My linkDidn't he say that? He was wondering the time.I don't know what to do about the Oline, but maybe we make a move for a scat back. We probably have guys on our roster or PS that could help the Oline some, but we will not know unless they got used. And Oline needs some time to gel if changes were made.I saw McGahee is possibly on the block and the whole Raiders team. blizzard_falcon
Well, free agency begins at 12:01 AM on the day it starts. I have a feeling the trade deadline probably extends until 11:59 PM tomorrow, though you have to think that if any trades are made they'd be announced several hours earlier than that, during the work day. 1989Fan
i dont see who we should trade for and why should should bother.before Sunday we had the best record in football and we needed nothing. One (bad) loss and this team is filled w holes all of a sudden?

One (bad) loss and this team is filled w holes all of a sudden? This is true, and trust me I'm no OMG DOOOMSDAY fan. But I have this extreme belief that Ryan needs more than say 2 seconds in the pocket to make a throw. Going back to the days of College where he was one of my favorite players of the year, (one of the others was Willy Mo ) he had such a command in the pocket. Kept his eyes downfield, and stood tall in the pocket to make a great pass. I think its kind of funny if you go watch the NFL viedo where the players are wired with Matt Ryan against the 49ers. I believe its Musgrave that comes up to Ryan and says "good job they are getting tired from hitting you. They are getting tired of hitting you so much." If that right there doesn't sum up our offensive woes I don't know what does. Edited October 19, 2010 by Dr_truth189
paulitik
I'd give Sam Baker's left nut for a real LT. Since he keeps giving away sacks, might as well be his.
falcon54
We need a true LT. Ryan has been rushed in every game. Just was magnified yesterday because we lost. Maybe a scat back but i would try to get a LT if anything

Find a way to give Matt some time TD!!what LT is out there?NO team is gonna trade a franchise LT in the middle of the season unless he is demanding to get out.there are no better options than Baker, and TD wont flush away picks for another teams trash. FalconMama
What LT is out there that's better than Baker that a team would give us.. Unless we go to the bench we're stuck with Baker until the end of the season.

1989Fan
Yes, the guy San Diego was going to let sit out all year.and SD would have let him sit if they didnt want/need the guy.they folded their hand and gave him money. Now that they did, they sure as heck wont get rid of him. they would look like idiots, and be crippled by a cap hit next season.they let go of Merriman, and would have done the same with McNeil and Jackson if they felt they werent in their future plans. Not sure there will be a cap next season. If SD had McNeil and Jackosn in their future plans, they would have paid them before the season started. But it was mostly just wishful thinking. We all say stupid stuff every once in awhile! There's typically a few moves made here and there and we'll probably hear about some throughout the day, but I would not anticipate anything major. Big moves tend to happen in the off-season. Going back to San Diego, I'm not fully aware of the status on Vincent Jackson, but I'd be willing to bet that there are teams discussing him at this very point in time.
