Dharma Initiative
After Moore was debatably penalized for his conduct, he began to lose his cool. Curtis grabbed him and gave him a mouthful before he went off to the sidelines.I like Moore, he is balling, but I loved seeing Lofton take charge of his defense. Statick
Yeah, Lofton did show mondo leadership. You could almost imagine what was being said.Moore (pointing back towards the field): "But he..."Lofton (grabbing him by his collar): "But, nothing! Get over here!" Still you gotta keep a cool head.......glad we have guys like Lofton who can bring guys back down.

Dr. Billings
Notice! When the game starts and the networks introduce the defensive backfield; the only player not smiling is William Moore. Dude is a beast.

Absolute
The play in question was also questionable...I don't see how he got the penalty there but I guess there was enough there to throw one. Not that being cut low after the whistle had anything to do with his frustration...

Dude is a beast. And you cant remove the smile from Hines Ward's face...and I'm pretty sure he is a beast.Moore is a wannabe at this point in his career...he has to earn it on the field in the pro game, not just from college highlights. I believe that's the rule. If it is then WillyMo and TonyG from last week need to RTFU and play NFL football.

I believe that's the rule. If it is then WillyMo and TonyG from last week need to RTFU and play NFL football.I thought it was legal as well but I could see why he was pissed. The play seemed to be over when he was cut. He took offense to it and ran over to the receiver (Avant I believe). Not sure why that was a penalty compared to some of the stuff that goes on in the trenches after a play is over.
Dr_truth189
That hit was Absoulutly not legal. Is that a joke? the dude dove at Willy Mo's legs after the whistle. Favre did the same thing last year and he got Fine. Can we please Show some love for our players? Come on yall the kid is pouring his heart out there. After injury after injury. all the in the legs I might add the guy is straight up laying licks left and right. He is putting his heart into the game and to see it taken away by someone basically showing no sportsmanship and care for another player at all is outright disgusting. Stop hating your own team because I'm willing to bet if you were in the exact same position most of you guys, myself included, Would've probably jacked the dude in his face. Carter
That penalty was a joke, same as the penalty for the Dunta hit being a total joke. It's football, not pillow fighting. You don't have to let a receiver get a completely wide open catch and you don't hit someone low after the play is over without catching some flack for it.The NFL is becoming gay. They may as well put flags on their belts. Not that it matters. We got crushed.

I think your point was that smiling has nothing to do with it- and I'd agree.

He almost got himself ejected but was able to hold off just enough not to give Avant a knee to the head.If there was a dirty play in this game, it was not the Robinson/Jackson collision that is getting so much play today. It was Jason Avant going after William Moore's knees away from the play (not so much that it was right about the time of the whistle, but more that both players were not involved in the play at all). KSFALCON
The play was over, players were heading to their huddles and Moore pushed over Avant in the secondary...it may have been justified, but the refs saw what Moore did and not what Avant did. It was a little push, but Avant fell over and that was more than enough for the refs to throw a flag. But Lofton did go over to him and was forcing him to the sideline, while Smith put in Coleman, Lofton knew he needed to cool off and Moore was back in on the next drive. YOu were saying the same thing about MOore before the season started and now that he is actually making plays you need to Rise UP with your haterism my good man LOL. Radiohead
Agreed. That was awesome. The development of Lofton will and has been fun to watch. The call on Moore was one of the worst I've seen in a while -- The guy tried to blow up Moore's knees and Moore just got in his face. That's fair game anytime a player goes to tear a guy's ACL. Edited October 19, 2010 by FalconsBlogger
