texasfalconfan
ok based on the performance today what should we draft in the first round next year? a left tackle for baker, a defensive end for abraham, a running back, or a stud linebacker like a cushing, or mathews? or should we trade back for a late 1st and extra late second, or trade up for a receiver like aj green? if you were td what would you do? i actually liked the play of our receivers today, but i didnt like the lack of time or the collapse of the pocket. also maybe its me but michael turner doesnt run throught people anymore, it seems like he gets touched and falls down. im also sure abraham is about done. as for me assuming we are picking between 24 and 28 all the top notch ol, and de will be gone. i say if a stud specialist falls like dez bryant did this year, where we get a top ten prospect late i say take him, if not trade back for extra picks, and keep trading back to point where we actually pick 2 second rounders, 3 or 4 3rd rounders, and several late rounders. its a numbers game, look how many first round busts there are and look at how many 3rd round stars are out there. sdogg
LT, WR or a OLB. Whichever is he highest rated player at those 3 pos.I feel this off season should be focused mostly on the offensive side of the ball.

The Birds are the truth
Draft a OC but serious....For what I seen today, we need a LT, WR or LB. Edited October 18, 2010 by The Birds are the truth
cyofish
A rookie LT isn't going to solve any problems. We need to look strongly at revamping the entire DL and upgrade the OL. Abe is on the decline and he's going to be less of a force next year. We need DT that can make penetration. WE need to look at FA for a left tackle and move Baker to the right. In all likelihood Norwood wouldn't be on our squad next season because of his injury issues. We need another change of pace RB.
madman88
this is easy, i said this last time i saw a similar thread, i will say it again.... a LB. someone who can cover, theres no point in having one guy who can cover when the other two cant.... if lofton isnt ever going to be good in coverage, at least have the two outside guys able to understand passing downs..... man spoon would have helped a lot today..... Billy Ocean
Best available LT or DE. Maybe a CB. I'd say our first 3 or 4 picks should be some combination of those positions. Besides QB those are the most valuable positions in football. I doubt we'd pick a LB in round 1 since we already have 2 recent early picks there. falcons faithful
With out a Doubt we need a speed back like Norwood was. We can't keep trying to run up the middle and Turner nor Snelling have out side speed. then another OL men then TE.
Herr Beast
With out a Doubt we need a speed back like Norwood was. We can't keep trying to run up the middle and Turner nor Snelling have out side speed. then another OL men then TE.I am with you on this one. We need a change of pace RB. We still have to use his abilities though, so add a new OC who actually is able to craft some good screens. But I would look for such player in round 2 or 3. LT or DE in round 1 will probably get us more value... oh wait, I forgot we drafted Baker and Anderson in round

FalconsfanDK
DE Allen Bailey in the first WR Leonard Hankerson in the second... Of course that is just me being a hurricanes fan but i would love to see at least one of Them come here, and thr positions are what we need... Another is LT with baker moved to RT. We would be very fortunate if we are able to get players at All three position who Can make an immediate impact through the draft, so we might get one of them through free agency.
