isproab
Why can't the Falcons run a no huddle like 50% of the time? Matt and the offense do well in it. There is no reason why we have to wait until we struggle for 3 or 4 series before we start to do it. I know our own guys need rest, but it has been obvious for a while that the Falcons run the no huddle very well.I know this is a run first offense, but you have to be able to play more than one style of offense. Eagles always bring pressure, Matt should have been in the shot-gun way more than he was. You can't spot a team 14 points and then expect to run your ball control keep away offense. SaintsH8
Because MM is to busy trying to force the run when it is not there. But why do we have to resort to no huddle to get the offense moving?Good point
huey7
totally agree with you. I think it has a lot to do with MM and Smith's coaching style. They're both schemers and planers and want total control of the offense. I think that's the main reason. Its bs how they don't give matt more room. He moves it effectively all the time. I'm sick of seeing Matt only throwing for 90 yards in the first half. Where are our "fast starts"?
isproab
But why do we have to resort to no huddle to get the offense moving?Just saying, it is what we do well, lean on it. So many times I see the two TE one WR split out and I know its a run and the defense knows its a run. We should not be that easy to read either. If us MMQB's can see this, just imagine what the professional DC's see. We are far too predictable and non creative.
consistentfalcon
Oh it drives me crazy. If us MMQB's can see this, just imagine what the professional DC's see. We are far too predictable and non creative. We are who they thought we are.Think about it 2 of the falcon wins were give aways. Saints missed a field goal and 49ers fumble an interception when all they had to do was run out of bounds and take 3 knees.i believe that the Browns would have played a better game if QB wasnt injured.the falcons are not that dominating, and are not improving to where teams like the giants, saints, bucs etc. are. just hope they have a winning season
