head busta from augusta
1 minute ago - CB Dunta Robinson predicted SS William Moore will be in the Pro Bowl at the end of this season. "William has been everything we knew he was," Robinson said. "It was just about him maturing a bit as a football player and he's definitely done that." Falcons RapidReportsTags: CB • SS 2 minutes ago - DE John Abraham (back) and TE Justin Peelle (groin) were limited in practice on Thursday. LB Curtis Lofton (knee) and WR Brian Finneran (knee) fully participated. All four players should play Sunday against Philadelphia. Falcons RapidReports13 minutes ago - Coach Mike Smith said Philadelphia's WRs are the best group his team will face to this point, which includes the New Orleans Saints. "And then when you throw in their leading receiver, their RB LeSean McCoy, it's going to put stress on us," Smith said. Falcons RapidReports30 minutes ago - CB Dunta Robinson on adjusting the defense for either Eagles QB Kevin Kolb or Michael Vick: "We feel we're good enough as a defense where we can go out there and play our defense, and not make too many silly adjustments trying to stop certain guys." Falcons RapidReports32 minutes ago - CB Dunta Robinson on Philadelphia's WRs, headlined by DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin: "Athletically, they're probably the best group we'll face so far. ... It's going to be a big test for us to go against these guys, probably the two fastest receivers in the NFL." Falcons RapidReports34 minutes ago - Whether its QB Kevin Kolb or QB Michael Vick starting, SS William Moore said it's still difficult to gameplan for a specific QB with the offensive weapons the Eagles have. "We have to execute the calls we have and play whoever's in there," Moore said. Falcons RapidReports37 minutes ago - SS William Moore used to play press man-to-man on his former college teammate, Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin, each day in practice at Missouri. "It's hard to stop guys like that," Moore said. "You know his speed, you have to respect his speed and what he can do." Falcons RapidReports46 minutes ago - With SS William Moore making just his fifth NFL start, the Eagles may look to get TE Brent Celek more involved this week. "(Celek's) a vet, I've seen what he's done, and you can't base anything off of a couple of games," Moore said. Falcons RapidReports53 minutes ago - The Falcons are holding opposing starting QBs to an average rating of 84.96 per game. "We're not too worried necessarily about QB ratings or receiving yards," FS Thomas DeCoud said. "We're mindful of getting hands on balls and getting the ball back to the offense." Dominique is Manufique
i am betting we'll see a lot of CB's trying to keep the eagles' WR's in front of them and not letting them get over the top. this means the eagles will have success throwing out routes, crossing routes etc. but hopefully ATL's redzone defense will step up at crunch time. red falcon
Moore should knock someones head off this game.
vel
Kolb is going to be forced to throw into tight windows with pressure on 3rd and long situations. We will see a lot of outside runs and zone reads to keep Mccoy from getting banged up in the middle as well as screens. Even though the Eagles are talented, if we can finally start scoring touchdowns and stopping leaning on Matt Bryant so much this game could be over early. But within that, you've got to execute and play smart football." Eagles RapidReports Oct. 14, 2010 3:58 p.m. - WR DeSean Jackson on being patient vs. double coverage: "The biggest thing about being a big playmaker is that it's not going to happen all the time. The more you do it, the more attention people are going to have on you." Eagles RapidReports Oct. 14, 2010 3:37 p.m. - QB Kevin Kolb on getting DeSean Jackson more involved: "Defenses have been doing a good job against him, but I've got to do a better job getting him the ball. Eagles RapidReports Oct. 14, 2010 3:25 p.m. - FS Thomas DeCoud on containing Eagles WR DeSean Jackson: "They're going to try to get the ball into his hands one way or another. sonnyjim
If Mr. Moore does knock someone's head off and they are clearly dead how long do you think it would hold up the game? They could get the corpse off the field quicker than if it was a neck injury. It's not like they would need to immobilize him. A respectful moment of silence, a quick ride in the green and silver wheelbarrow, and bingo bango we're back to the tango.
