The O.D.B
It would seen to me If I was planning an offensive attack against us I would be double teaming Babs non-stop. However, I've noticed that Peters seem to be getting a ton of doubles. Is this just because Babs beats the doubles before they develop or is it because teams are seeing that Corey is a monster on film? Unfortunately, since I watch the games online I don't have the luxury of rewind/rewatch. Do you guys see this too? What's up?
schwarzenegger321
Our DT's, Especially Babs, are getting penitration one-on-one. We are totally screwing up other teams inside running games. Right now the only success anyone is having running on us is off tackle or outside the tackle, and there is not much there either.Teams are pretty consistently double teaming our inside guys leaving the DE's one on one with the OT's and a running back. We just need a little more consistency across the Dline and we will see our sacks per game number spike.
m cooper 22
I've noticed Peters in the backfield an lot too, he seems to beat 1 on 1s often, and he does sometimes get doubled, but not as much as Babineaux from what I've been seeing.I'm really liking Peters, quiet, under the radar, and playing well. Not bad considering he was a relatively unknown draft.
Statick
I've noticed a lot of max protect against our d-line, especially when the opposing offense runs any TE set. They're either scared of the d-line penetration or trying to exploit LB/secondary matchups.

vel
I think all of our DTs see doubles all game I just think with Abe being the biggest threat on our line they double away from him. Since Babs is on the same side as Abe he sees less so the guard can chip Abe if necessary.

Who!?', excluding the ones who'd looked him up a bit.
Mr Pickle1
It's where they line up. Babs lines up in a 3 technique, outside the guards shoulder, which means a double on him would require the tackle and guard to get him, leaving Abe/Biermann/Anderson matched up on a Te/Rb/Air. That's a bigger mismatch than a guard on Babs.Doubling Peters, who lines up inside or on the nose of the guard requires the center and guard...leaving tackles mentioned on De's, and rb's on blitzing lbrs. birds_till_death
The other benefit is our LB's. Because our d-line requires double teaming, the o-line can't get to the second level. The genious to me is why they require the double t3eam. Not because they are fat like grady, but because they are smaller, faster and more athletic. The O.D.B
Is anyone else blown away that he can come in as a rookie and play at this level. I wonder if his first big play will be a sack or a Kroy type pick.
